"TL:DR, Most of this seems petty until we get their response at the end. After having an almost $6,000 top of the line mini split installed on property about 2 years later it started leaking profusely. We contacted Air Stream thinking since they initially installed the unit they may cut us a break on the service/repair. They quoted us $250 for a line clean which seemed a little high but probably fair. She (Air Stream) then told us they would may be able to potentially make it out by the end of day or the following morning. Great! End of day, no correspondence or contact - no problem The next morning, no correspondence or contact... little odd but again, no problem - maybe they wrote our information down wrong or incorrectly? We then reached out a couple of times to see if they in fact may have wrote down our contact information incorrectly. We need the problem fixed given Florida heat and trying to schedule around our own busy schedules. - only got voicemail. Finally at around 2pm that afternoon we get a call saying that a technician is on their way and should be there in about 45 minutes. About an hour and 10 minutes later the technician arrives. Again, no big deal, not that late. They call us saying no one is on site. Which we thought was odd since we had our property manager on site handling some things ,we check the cameras and sure enough she was not on site. We then reach out to her and she confirmed she was just down the street grabbing some things and would be back in less than 10 minutes. We then called Air Stream back to let them know she should be returning in less than 10 minutes (mind you all of this transpired in less than 2 minutes, from initial call- to manager confirmation, back to Air stream) The lady at Air Stream then let us know they would be passing on us to the next customer, could not wait the 10 minutes and said we should find another company to work with. I was absolutely baffled until I came here to read other reviews with those exact words " you should find another AC company to work with" Incredibly unprofessional that you could keep a customer waiting, not pick up, show up late, and then say you can't be bothered to wait 10 minutes after we had been waiting for over 24 hours for a solid confirmation. Given less than a 1 hour heads up, and then show up late, then to say you can' be bothered to wait 10 minutes while out to the gas station down the street. Especially for a home that you installed the INITIAL AC unit on! Ended up being a blessing in disguise since we found other highly rated AC companies and WAY cheaper rates that were punctual and not rude."
