"We thought enough of the place to buy a home here 2 weeks ago. Now this rating could go down once we actually stay there a while. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place this is it. Yet it is still near groceries, stores, and medical facilities. Unless you would rather have the crowded, hustle and bustle of the nearby Villages, we recommend Golden Pond."
"Tried to help my disabled mother in law apply for a lease here. Park was very nice we were shown two units. Came back a few days later with the application and they said we must be trying to scam them and refused to take the application. ?? Even though we would have to pay for the application?? So idk how they think it's a scam. We also would not be living there it was only for my mother in law. They said they didn't believe she was a real person because we didn't drive her 10 hours to and from Pensacola to pick her up and deliver the application we worked with her over the phone to help her fill out her information like normal people. Glad we didn't bring her because they obviously didn't want her there. Just because she is homeless and living in a homeless shelter doesn't mean she's not a person. Will be reporting their refusal to even take our money and the application to the better business bureau. Very unprofessional and just heartless."
"I have lived here for 4 years now and this is a very quiet and great bunch of people to be around. The park is always kept up with and the maintenace manager is very good at fixing things. We will miss Lisa and Micky. Micky passed and was a great and loved guy in the park he will be missed dearly."
"I am having fun designing my cottage. I fell in love with this cute house. It is quiet here and we have activities to participate in. My neighbors are friendly and would lend a hand if needed. It's a great way to live as a senior."
"I live at Golden Pond Village RV Park and I love living here. My neighbors are very friendly, and helpful. When my home needs repair there's usually someone who knows how to fix it close by. The management is very very friendly and helpful as well. Well have a lot of fun living here year round. It's truly a great place to live."
