"I could give this place no star I would the manager is horrible , I emailed them in regards to an issue I had paying the rent witch wants my fault , they are heartless they don’t even care about their tenants I explained my situation asked for some help , they acted like it was nothing and dismissed , I also been emailing them for months in regards problems in the building no answer they only answer when it’s beneficial to them."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. I guess for the past 3 weeks straight it has been declared the new hang out spot in Phase One. When I tell you more & more young men ages 17-28 have been coming to “hang” in the complex is alarming. There has to be a new tenant in the 1491 building that has them flocking over here because they’ve come out of nowhere. I could submit photos but then again, safety. From blocking the side walks, stairways, leaning on our cars, doing drugs, having weapons on them, and the loud noise from the evening throughout the night, I’m about ready to break my lease. The apartments has yet to secure our safety with the gate system, which is why they can easily come into the complex as well as the younger kids from the neighborhood. A few days ago a small brawl broke out 9pm at night involving these kids. After the group came to fight whoever they exited the complex from the north exit. Had the gates been fixed they would’ve never gotten in. I would say the gate system & cameras are the MAIN problem and as much as they charge I don’t understand what’s preventing them from fixing it. Hell they haven’t worked since I moved in & they promised that was going to get fixed. Another problem is the amount of broke down cars that are being parked on the outskirts of the complex. It’s much safer to park on the outside due to the groups of men & children that hang out INSIDE the complex, but I haven’t been able to. These cars have been sitting for months, like who do we have to contact to get them removed? On top of that people’s work cans take up about 2/3 spots sometimes. The complex is getting worse & worse and management absolutely does nothing & doesn’t care. I’ll be suiting up with my Attorneys to get out of my lease cause they don’t do there part, at all."

"Management is literally trash, just like the apartments. The security gates have been broken for going on 2 years, anyone can come in. There’s literally a homeless person every few days sleeping in the hall or on the stairs. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything they can quickly coverup, such as painting over water leaks. Management fails to upkeep the complex & enforce policies. Broke down/abandoned cars taking up parking spaces for almost a year. Units filled with entirely too many tenants. Some units literally being rented as for short term leasing. Different groups of men both young & older huddling up setting up tents in the parking lot late at night blocking cars in. Groups of young men hanging out leaning on your cars starring you down just taking the trash out at night. Not to mention the very young children starting from 4yrs old and up outside at all times of the day through the night that barely move out the way when you’re trying to come/ leave the complex. I know with the area, these things are granted, but things just keeps getting worse and that’s because Management isn’t doing their part in showing they are present. I don’t even know or have yet to see who the new manager is. These people don’t even do inspections, they give you a notice & never even come. I can go on & on with all the problems with this complex, but bottom line they need a new management company seriously."

"*Edit: Manager reached out after seeing my review and the issue was resolved. Untrustworthy, deceitful, and completely untrustworthy. I gave them a $255 money order for 3 applicants and was told to wait a week for a callback. After a week, there was nothing, so I kept calling and being told I would get a callback or to wait. They only called back 25 days later to inform me I was over income and they finally had an opening. Meaning that in those 25 days, my application was never actually submitted. I called the next day asking for a callback to ask some questions, and of course, there wasn't one. The next day, I was told my income was way over the other unit, and they wouldn't accept my application either way. They were given $255 to submit something that they never actually submitted. Don't bother applying for this place unless you want your time wasted and your money stolen."
