"Very poor customer service from the desk. Staff hides from customers and, worse, ignores you. We entered the premise one weekend. There were 3 staff members present, but there was not a single welcoming face. Instead, we were ignored. Not just ignored, we felt they were hiding from us. Not one of the three even welcomed us. None said, "Hello, please have a seat we will be right with you." Intead they bunkered deeper into their offices. FYI, there were NO other customers inside the office but us. On a separate note, coming into the office, we approached the front glass door, but they were locked. We did see the staff in the window, and we were very sure she saw us trying to open the door to come in. Yet she hunkered deeper and "hid" from us as if we're not even comprehensible of what she was doing. It's no wonder they have PLENTY of available units. We left this place wondering if it's this bad getting assistance to inquire about the units. Can you imagine how hard it is to get customer service from residents from these unhappy employees? The parking and the environmental space in general felt tight / crowded. Residents (maybe visitors) were playing loud music at the parking lot. If service is critical to you (and it should be), this is not your place. The owner may respond to this and say, "we take matters like this seriously," but that's just publicity because a real change would mean removing toxic employees that make the experience really bad for stakeholders. It's really that simple. Thus, I truly do NOT recommend this apartment to anyone. In reply to your reply, instead of admitting the massive incompetence of your staff, you deflect and focus the "attack" on my character. Thus, I posted pictures of your lobby that I took when I came in on February 17th, 2024 @1:27 pm (we were NOT acknowledged by your 3 staff who were hiding themselves in their offices)."
"With such great Google reviews, I was expecting something spectacular. Unfortunately, this just wasn't the case from my experience. The streets and parking in the community were tight. The facade and buildings looked dated and old. I had an appointment scheduled to tour the community but left because of poor customer service. First, there isn't even a sign informing you of where to park if touring the community. Other communities had dedicated spots or signs informing you where you can park. Not here. I entered the leasing office and waited for someone to greet me. About 10 min later someone finally did but the tour didnt go as planned. I wasn't impressed at all. If they treat you like this as a potential "future resident", I can only imagine how they treat you once they close the deal and bind you to a lease. I see their websites had a lot of vacancies and offering a promo for half a month lease reimbursement. I can see why they needed to try and entice people to lease there."
"LOVE LIVING HERE! Beautifully renovated apartments, great location, amenities and service! I am going on my second year and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The office has a very friendly atmosphere, and Residential Manager Leslie Garcia is amazing! Extremely informative, helpful and goes beyond the extra mile to help you - your move-in process is not stressful, on the contrary, Leslie makes you feel like a true Cortland family member. She is a genuine gem and asset to this community!"

"Review: Reality vs. Expectation - My Experience Moving into the "Renewed" Apartment Upon moving into my new apartment, the allure of a "renewed" living space was a tantalizing promise. I was optimistic and ready for a fresh start. However, what awaited me was a stark contrast to what was portrayed. Yes, I'll give credit where it's due: the kitchen counter top and backsplash look splendid, and the barn doors are a nice touch. But beyond these cosmetic changes, much was left to be desired. The doors may have a fresh coat of paint, but they're the same old ones. Evidence of hurried work is glaringly evident – from tape still stuck on my door handle to a half-painted air vent. The absence of a curtain rod in my room, among other things, might seem trivial to some, but it's these small details that culminate into an experience that feels more like a facade rather than a genuine renewal. Perhaps what disappoints me the most isn't the state of the apartment but the communication (or lack thereof) from the management. Working hard and paying for a place that falls short of expectations is one thing, but being met with radio silence when trying to address concerns is quite another. Having sent three emails detailing my concerns and still awaiting a response, I'm left wondering about the professionalism and customer care at this establishment. It's not all gloom and doom – I've enjoyed my time living here previously. But professionalism is a two-way street. A prompt and courteous response, regardless of whether there's an agreement, is the bare minimum residents should expect. If anyone from the management is reading this, please consider addressing our emails with the same respect and professionalism that we, as residents, extend to you."
