"Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Booked White Caps #7 for our 35th anniversary get-away... and it was perfect.  The cottage is just like you see in the pictures. We LOVED it. It is the second to the last cottage before the beach, but you still have an awesome view from the table while having coffee in the morning. Speaking of coffee, here's some pointers that may be of help (things I wish I knew before arriving): * FULLY stocked kitchen; stove, fridge w/ ice maker, microwave, coffee maker & filters, dishwasher, 2 slice toaster, blender (inside cabinet), all kinds of pots/pans - cooking & eating utensils - bowls - dishes - coffee cups & glasses - dish towels & dishrags - salt & pepper. Does not have coffee or any food  (which is as it should be) so you will need to stop at the store. * Bed (king size), with 4 pillows, is freshly made plus an extra blanket in closet. * Bath towels, washrags & hand towels are provided. * Beach towels (4) were provided. * Beach chairs (2) & beach umbrella were provided in the storage bin outside back door. There was a small cooler in there too that we took to the beach. * There is a "starter pack" provided that has dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, 4 pack toilet paper, hand soap, box of tissues. It was more than enough for us two for the week. * Plenty of hangers in the closet, which I was glad for. * Check ALL the cabinets - people leave stuff behind for others to use... was delighted to find books to read, playing cards and other stuff "to do" if wanted. * There is a coin operated washer & dryer ($1.75 each machine) in the small building by recycle/trash area. You need to supply your own soap/softener.  Machines seem fairly new, were clean and worked great for me (remember to check dryer lint screen because not everone does) * We left a collection of local restaurant menus and an island map on the fridge for future guests (I know, you can look them up online but it's nice just to have them handy) It IS a pet friendly property, and there were no problems with any of the furry guests vacationing here (or the non-furry guests for that matter). Everyone seems very respectful of everyone else's space & time while here. The staff at Select Vacation Properties were great in handling any questions/needs we had. We came here, to Sanibel Island, for the first time ever for our 35th anniversary and we're completely satisfied with the place we chose to stay... LOVED it and we'll be back! (btw - YES, you can see the sunrise AND sunset here on the beach - this sunset view was of the beach from our cottage!)"
