"Full of SEASHELLS!! :) Definitely a Mom & Pop joint. Super friendly staff. Bike rentals $15 for the Day. Calm quiet place. Private access to beach. Great sunrise views. If you're not local to Florida Dusk to Dawn you will need Deet spray for the "no-seems" tiny bugs that nip you by the water! Fully equipped kitchen. Shop for groceries before you cross the bridge prices are twice even triple cost. Sanibel handmade ice cream a 6 minute walk is delicious! Our room C55 perfect views of the pool if you have older kids that can swim alone you can yell at them from the front and back balcony lol. Outdoor shower and water hose. Boardwalk leads all the way till you hit sand. I gave 4 stars for room only because we are family of 6 and little tight but it works. 2nd time visiting same place . LOVE LOVE LOVE! P.s came equipped with beach needs chairs,toys etc. Definitely slow pace vacation spot. Hidden Gem!"

"This was the second time we stayed here and we love it. So close to the beach, the pool is great, the employees are friendly and helpful. We love the island and the peace and quiet. We are already planning our trip back in the next few months."

"We loved our stay at Colony Inn. Our unit (51) was clean, nice furnishings, and well equipped with everything we needed. After a long day at the beach, pool, or riding bikes, we enjoyed a few glasses of wine on the screened lanai- lighted ceiling fan was a plus. Very friendly staff. Direct path to the beach and your toes are in the sand in a couple of minutes. Beach and pool never felt crowded like at the bigger resorts. Walking distance to ice cream, restaurants and small deli/market with conveniences. This place is a gem!"

"Excellent place to stay. Small, quaint, and quiet. We had 2 units (c15 and c17) for our party of 7. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchens (though very small), full size refrigerator, great towel service. Beds were comfortable and both units were clean. Easy and pretty walk to the beach. Beach area by condo is not busy, so that is nice for relaxing. A fairly easy walk to the lighthouse end of the island. We didn't swim in the pool, but others were and the water was clean and warm. Bikes for rent on the property and a short drive to the busier tourist spots. After we got there we noticed one of our rooms had a connecting room, so next time I book, I would call and ask for adjoining rooms if a available. A good value , and we would stay here again."

"Great quiet place to stay just off the beach. Rooms are individually owned and decorated but all quite beautiful. Small but clean pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the buildings was being renovated while we were there so that was reassuring to see that they keep the buildings up. We've been staying here for close to 20 years and will keep returning."
