"What a great place. We couldn't want anything better than this. Close to the beach, shells everywhere, and the most nicest welcome on arrival. Thera are bikes, beach kart, beach chairs, and sun umbrella to use free of charge. There is a gas grill that guests can use. The room has all that you need for a comfortable stay. Coffee maker, owen, microwave, hairblower, beach towels, very comfortable beds. Sunscreens, bug retardant that we newer used because we newer noticed any tiny bugs. Well, there are probably more positive things to mention that I forgot. Highly recommended for a perfect stay."

"What an absolute gem. Found it somewhat by happenstance, which made the stay that much more memorable. The furnishings are well appointed and comfortable. The owner is one of the nicest, most accommodating hosts ever. It has the feel of staying with a relative, without the relative “baggage”. I think everyone would thoroughly enjoy their stay here. Can’t wait to go back."

"We have been coming to Sanibel for 25 years. This little inn is a gem on the quiet east end. The rooms are beautiful and newly redecorated. The property is a small tropical paradise just a short walk from the beach or the bay. Perfect!"

"We stays for 4 nights. So relaxing, beds very comfortable, clean rooms with kitchen and grill access. Just was great and very helpful and kind. Loved outdoor shower and we made great use of the bikes. We went to the beach everyday where the water was warm and picked up some great sea shells!"

"I came in for a quick get away from the nonsense in the Orlando area. The owners communication was as excellent. (I initially booked to stay a week and a half ago but had to change my plans due to a car accident and they were more than accommodating my last minute cancellation. Thank you for that!) The inn is so charming. I wish I could have stayed longer and plan to come back at the end of the year. The property is well taken care of. There are so many sitting areas including swinging benches, hammocks, bistro and patio tables with umbrellas. The rooms are new and I stayed in the Birdhouse which was perfect for me. I loved that each room has its own private patio area along with all the beach items one would need including umbrellas, beach wagon, towels, chairs and best of all, bicycles. The access to the beach is a quick 5 minute walk or a super quick bicycle ride. I highly recommend the Tarpon Tale Inn and wish the owners much success after surviving Hurricane Ian."
