Tarpon Beach Condo

"Stayed in 108. Perfect Location - 5 Great views - 5 Property well maintained and clean - 5 Lanai - 5 Beds - 3 Pool - 5 Value -5 Rented through royal shell. There was no access to the door locked outside the front door of condo, or the locked door underneath in the parking area. There was a rusty cart, and some rusty chairs available on the lanai, but we had to buy all new, and left there for the next group. It would be nice to have some of the beach essentials provided, or some accessibility to the locked closets, I would rather leave beach gear downstairs. Parking - parking a van under the building is a little tough, tight quarters with posts - assigned parking, with a few flex spots in the open, but they are usually full. Complex doesn't have a ton of units which is nice. Dishwasher, cabinets, and oven are showing their age. They need to put the trash can in a cabinet with a pullout. The boardwalk to the beach is nice. Location couldn't be better. Close to Bailey's, Doc Ford's, George and Wendy's, Joey's Custard, and Over Easy Cafe. It doesnt get better than that. The 2 twin beds in the bedroom are terrible. Main improvement would be the twin beds. I would do a full and a twin in this room, and replace the matresses. The celing fans take candlebra bulbs, no extras in condo, tons of type A in drawers, but had quite a few of the ceiling fan bulbs burnt out. Knives need sharpened. There is no trash chute by your condo, you do have to take to a central location near front of property. It is a nice walk, or put in your trunk and drop off. It is well lit an night as well which is nice. We had a party of 5, it was a little tight. Tv's and cable are good. Internet access is good. Unit has washer/dryer. I would replace the dishwasher, stove, and cabinets, and vacuum (breaker bar doesn't work) and do the main living area to the lanai all tile, no carpet, but would do some area carpets. The carpet is nearing end of life in high traffic areas. Overall, this place is a great value, we would stay there again."

"My wife and I really enjoyed being so close to the water. We could watch the people and boats and the waves. I was able to go out to the water and catch some fish with my flyrod. We are looking forward to doing this again next year."
