Sanibel Island Condo Rentals at Blind Pass

"Blind Pass Condos are a great place to stay - short lovely walk to the uncrowded beach, clean pool, tennis courts, free kayaks (no skipper plugs so you’ll get wet!). Close to Captiva. I would not however recommend unit D201. I’ve stayed here before in F204 and it was much nicer. While all units are managed the same, they are individually owned and vary wildly."

"We stayed here 5 years ago in another unit and it was beautiful. This year we stayed in B203 and it was horrible. The kitchen was covered in ants the first night (to the point we had to throw away food we just purchased). We called management the following morning (Sunday) and were told it wasn’t an emergency. The bathtub on the master had 4 inches of standing water that wouldn’t drain, again told that wasn’t an emergency, they would send someone out on Monday. My husband ended up fixing the issue and they never sent anyone out, he also cleaned the dryer out that was full of lint and surprisingly hadn’t caused a fire. The cookware had grease all over it, there was sand all over the chairs and other items in the master closet, the ceiling fans were filthy, the exposure of cords in the den and master were hazardous, the dining chairs were tore and one was hid in a closet because it was damaged so bad. The ceiling is peeling in the master bath, there’s a piece of furniture in the den that could fall at any moment, the porch screen is ripped, there was dust everywhere, the trash outside stayed mounded the entire week and we had booked for 8 people and were only left towels for 6. When I pointed this out they said IF there were any in their linen closet they would bring them. The beaches of Sanibel are beautiful and we don’t mind the walk but we will not stay here again. Such a disappointment and this unit needs some major work."

"Love this place! Great pool and recreation area centered in the complex , which is where we spent most of our time. If you prefer the big water, its a short walk out to the beach on a private walkway. Bowmans beach (a popular tourist spot) is right next to the beach access as well. There is great shelling on the beach, especially at low tide. Most of the time the area is pretty quiet (especially at night) so you can relax and enjoy your vacation. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas of sanibel and captiva when you venture out!"

"Excellent property on highly desired Sanibel Island. Have stayed here on three different occasions, and am always pleased with facilities and staff. Having access to Kayaks, Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool, and the amazing beach is always fantastic. I would recommend this location."

"Off the beaten path, but that is what we wanted. Located between the main drag of Sanibel and Captiva. Easy access to the beach for some wonderful shelling. It has a tennis court, pool, area for grilling and shaded parking which is a plus in the Florida heat. Condo we were in had every comfort of home."
