"I would rate a zero if I could. I spent many texts, emails and phone calls stating that I was traveling alone and looking for a friendly community. Upon arrival, they did not take time to explain any procedures as to check in. You wait in a very long car line, then go to the office(another long line), to be told that they have no relationship to Gulf Coast and if needed, that I should phone them. As I had a broken wrist the office coldly said they could not help lift a bag from my car. Wow. I called the emergency number at GC and an automated reply came back. The agent repeatedly said that someone at the office or pro shop or they could always help. He lied and then customer service covered up for him and the whole procedure.All they wanted was months of my social security. Not one dime was proffered as it was clear that I was checking out on Day 5 of 29. So shocked by the lies AND inhumanity of not accessing any help with my bag I sat by the road crying until someone who lives here helped and got me to my condo which was not marked and without instructions.If you come here expect nothing from staff. Certainly be wary of this property management company who were immoral, inhuman. Remember, all they want is your money no matter what the cost. Next, I will complain to the BBB and corporate. I am 73 years old. Make sure your navigation works."

"We have used Gulf Coast as the property management company for the past 5 years in order to maintain/lease our home in Sarasota, FL. While there have been some bumps in the road, Scott Bodager (our property manager) really outdid himself with this most recent house preparation for the new tenant. Unfortunately our former tenants for the previous 5 yrs did not leave our home in an acceptable condition when they moved out. Scott & the Gulf Coast team worked hard to get a new tenant but we had a VERY short window in which to repair & improve the home. From wrangling the painters to dealing with an unpredictable pool leak to having to install a new odd-sized kitchen sink (the hole in the granite from a 3 bin vintage porcelain sink was VERY large), etc. Scott had his hands full. Our 100+ emails are evidence enough (At least it felt like 100 emails)!! LOL We appreciate the extra efforts that Gulf Coast made to try to get everything done before the new tenant moved in. It was an incredible challenge trying to get things done as we currently live half way across the country, but Gulf Coast handled things well. From responding to emails in a prompt fashion to personally going by the house to insure the pool was still full (for the scheduled leak detection service call), this lease-up could not have happened in the time it did without Scott.
