"We are enjoying living here at Oakwood. The staff is efficient, friendly, and courteous! Our apartment is very nice and the rent is reasonable. We've only had one maintenance problem and Josh, the property manager took care of it within 24 hours! I like that there are no breeze ways so we don't have a lot of people congregating outside of our apartment! This was a problem at the last complex where we lived! We don't have a problem with parking. and our upstairs neighbors are very nice. I enjoy working out at the fitness center and the pool is nice too."

"Never any available parking. Parking is not regulated at all, so people can have 3 cars per unit or more. Not very fair to the tenants with only 1 car like myself. You would expect a newer complex to have enough parking for its units. Office staff is very inattentive and doesn't respond to emails - that's with the staff that was here before when I first moved in and still the case with the new staff. Lots of other issues with the way the community is ran, but overall the apartment itself is nice enough for an okay price. THIS STATEMENT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!! I gave it a 1 star ONLY because I had to give a star at all! NO PARKING AT ALL! If I come home after 7pm with my 3 kids I have to park almost near playground when I stay away 2 buildings from it! And some units (like the people in front of us) have 15 people living there (2 different families) in 3 rooms (which I don't know how with it being an income based unit and regulations to it) and 4 cars at all times! how is that fair? My bf drives his company vehicle home every night and NEVER parks near the front also far away to leave spots for others! I have had SOOOO many issue with this complex, old staff and new staff, including my son getting a bite by a spider (in front of my walk way - that they don't care for!!) that he was hospitalized for 5 days, with a serious infection and could not walk.. MY 2 YEAR OLD!!!! I have reached out to their corporate office in Orlando and NOTHING, and the front desk lady Maxine laughs and is very unprofessional. Wont ever let you talk to someone, instead takes messages and then HANG up on me while I was at the hospital with my son! Then I go to their main office in Texas.. NOTHING. Finally get the name of the Vice President, David Bales (since NO one would give me any upper management info EXCEPT the regional manager Jessica Moore who is just as bad as the office manager Maritza Mercado. NO call from him like I was told. I am trying filing a suit against the complex and they even rejected my ATTORNEY'S MAIL AT THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE IN ORLANDO!!! I have the copy of the letter and how they WROTE NOT AT THIS ADDRESS on it. SMH. THEN when I threatened to leave my comments and concerns on the web, he emails me (Vice President) and says a call Monday 8/14. It is NOW THURS 8/17 and STILL NOTHING. SARAH is the only office employee that they have had that actually stops and helps you and tries to make this better, when she does answer. She was even in there on her day off getting ready for her vacation and helped me! THE ONLY one. The maintenance men have been great too when we need them! This is my 2nd year with them and I can promise I will not stay or recommend anyone ever again!!! Exceeding Our Customer's Expectations Pinnacle - is on their email signatures.. what a joke. 8/25/17 - this HUGE spider was found in our living room running under our couch. Called the office AGAIN to tell them they really need pest control out AND NOTHING. 8/29/17 - UPDATE - STILL NO CONTACT & CALL BACKS. BUT THE OFFICE MANAGER CAN KICK THE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR OUT AND NOT EVEN GIVE THEM AN HOUR TO GET THEIR STUFF OUT, THE POLICE OFFICER TRIED ANDDD SHE SAID NO NOW! having a child in the house and no way to leave the property but to walk with their belongings, the same neighbor who has bites all over her and cannot get the office to call her either. RIDICULOUS 9/5 STILL NO RESPONSE, MORE SPIDERS FOUND. All my pictures I post on here keep getting removed or the complex isn't allowing them because all the property pics are still there. AND I Paid my rent AND THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER 3 DAY NOTICE AND LATE FEE ADDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
