Huntington Place Apartments

"Pool was forest green for over 9 months. The hot tub was always shut down because someone kept pooping in it. Had a tear in the carpet when we did the walk through when moving in. They used this as an excuse to not give me my deposit back and charged me saying they have to change the carpet and paint the unit. They said they always paint after every tenant moves out. What a rip off after paying so much for a small one bedroom. Run from this place."

"I checked these apartments out when I was deciding if I was going to renew my lease at my current apartment. The pictures and everything online looked Amazing ! I was really excited to see them in person. Well - Went there and wasn't able to look at any unit or the unit they mentioned would be available when I wanted to move in. So I told her I would think about it and get back to her. After that meeting - I drove around the complex and boy oh boy I am so glad I did. The apartments look very outdated and run down. The balcony's are small and rotting. There were many apartments that had garbage and other unsightly items on the balcony which I didn't like at all. Seemed like the ghetto. Very little parking and not sure what they consider a "dog park" but that wasn't it. Of course I decided to stay where I am at. I love where I live! My point is - Please do your research and go see it in person before committing to anything."

"Very pleasant community to live in. The management staff is attentive to any and all concerns, and they are nice enough to surprise residents sometimes with special treats like pizza, snow cones, breakfast snacks, etc.. These little pleasantries are lovely ways of showing how much they care about the residents, and we very much appreciate the thoughtfulness. And, the staff is non invasive when work projects have to be completed in or around the community or within our apartment. These are a few of the reasons that we decided to stay a little longer in this particular apartment homes community. There are many more positive experiences that I haven't mentioned, even the many amenities are noteworthy. Come to check it out yourself. You're sure to find something you like. "Not great. The buildings are old and they are showing their age. Unfortunately, the maintenance staff does not take care of things the way they should. Maintenance requests are not addressed, and most often ignored. Landscaping is completely absent, as some residents have taken to cutting the grass themselves, and or planting their own plants in front of their apartments. Many residents have a lot of junk stashed on their front porch for all to see even though this is not supposed to be allowed per lease. The pool is constantly closed for a variety of ridiculous reasons. These apartments leave a lot to be desired, you can do much better elsewhere."

"Is a good place to live, good location, good neighborhood, but: Those of us on the first floor are affected by the fact that those on the second floor get dirty and all the dirt falls on our terraces, we cannot enjoy the terrace to eat or sit because we receive the dirt that falls from above. They should improve the maintenance and cleaning of the pool and surroundings. In some apartments (first floor building 7) many people organize parties and drink by the lake.
