"The manager Mona is helpful to a degree. She is a straight shooter, it seems. However, the rent is too high for the small and dirty accommodations. The "maintenance" worker, Lou, doesn't know his foot from his head and is lazy. Several rooms have filthy carpets, poor plumbing and electrical issues. This place needs a round the clock maintenance worker who will spruce the place up and really care about the physical plant itself. It has potential and isn't a horrible place.....it just needs a manager to offer cheaper rates for the space one is getting and ensure fairness across the board. And it needs a full time maintenance worker who will take care of the place. Overall, especially due to the lack of wifi (inside) the rooms, the excessive rates, the lazy "maintenance" man, I only rate this place at 3 stars."

"Met a lot of awesome people that I'll remember for a life time, but South Pine is not a long term housing. I saw a lot of drugs in that place."

"I called South Pine Apartments to get more details on the apartments. This is the worst place to go to, very unprofessional. I call the office and I spoke with the owner. She was very disrespectful and not giving me the details I wanted. When I had questions for her she wouldn't answer them and rushed me off her phone line. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to go here. If the customer service is like this, I could only imagine how the living experience is."

"Nasty Landlord that will yell at you if you complain about anything reasonable or when ever she feels like it. I consider this very abusive and she is a slumlord in my option. I found a mouse or small rat running around in my bedroom and bug's all over the place. I was eating fried fish and a fast moving bug came out from under my fish and then off the plate! The landlord told me I have to pull the Power Plug out of the AC if I wanted to use a Microwave oven which they do not supply otherwise the fuse could blow!. The bathroom did not have a working electric wall outlet. There are lots of registered sex Offenders living very nearby. Look it up for yourself. Not an area to live in if you have children! Plus where I was living had a leaky roof which they may or may not have fully fixed. I was only there one week and fortunately it did not rain so I did not find out if they really fixed it. There is not normally a TV in the rooms. But she found a broken TV which the cable connection to the TV was broken. I found an old Video Recorder which I was able to use the RCA Plugs to hook to the TV. Now when I want to move out she wants to keep my Security deposit because she bought the TV for me. I just want my Security deposit back and not keep this old broken TV. I hope she works at least this out with me when I leave in the morning. Update this Nasty Landlord did give me $35.00 of Security deposit back as she should even though she still owed me more money, even though I left this apartment in good condition. But she again without any Sane reason was yelling insults at me like I am a spoiled brat etc. I chose to go high and did not go down to her low level. I asked another Tenant why she yells like this at tenants like me without any real cause. He said it is because she deals with bad people on a regular basis. I have worked in the past for Disney which I had to pass an FBI SCREENING AND DRUG TEST. SO I AM ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS. This Landlord said she did not give a damn if I told people in a review about all this. Stay far away from this nasty place and Slum Landlord."
