The Park at Chelsea Apartment Homes

"Beware of the positive reviews! The management team bribes the residents with money to get them! Now with the actual apartment: If you like going home and having a nice relaxing day watching TV or reading a book this place is not for you. The walls are thin between the apartments, I don't even think that a firewall is in place because noise travels through whenever the neighbors do anything. We're in a 2 bedroom with loft, and the neighbors are terrible.. They have children and every time they walk around we can hear their footsteps vibrating throughout, the adults are worse with screaming at each other every night that they are "pieces of $hit." As I write this now the kids are screaming and I can hear them almost clearly, earlier they were talking about Bruno (We all know we shouldn't be talking about him). We can also hear when someone on the opposite side closes a cabinet door every time! Or slides their chairs out from under the table. Walls shouldn't be this thin for an apartment complex. The only thing I was told from the office staff is to call the police when the neighbors are being very loud, the police have better things to do. Before signing the lease to this complex make sure to do a THOROUGH WALKTHROUGH to make sure the paint job is good and there aren't any repairs that need to be done. The back areas behind some of the apartment buildings are covered in dog poop from owners being irresponsible, some owners don't even make sure that their dogs are on leashes, so there's a head up for dog owners. Also, there is a "strict" 5 mph speed limit in this complex that no one follows, people sometimes go 30-40 down the roads not caring if there are any kids playing or residents walking down the roads. Unfortunately, this area has mostly income restricted apartments which leaves very few choices of places to live."

"The “REGIONAL MANAGER” Tammy is an absolutely abhorrent manager and from what every single maintenance person has said when they leave which at the park at Chelsea has been about 10 over the past 8 months including 5 supervisors.. I have been telling them for months to take some street marking paint and mark out parking spots so there isn’t 10-15ft between vehicles but they never do anything about it and they just lost THE BEST PERSON THEY HAD IN MELISSA who left because she couldn’t tolerate that miserable manager any longer..I asked to speak with her supervisor as she was threatening to tow my car if I park on the grass again and she told me I could not and that she was in charge of everything and has no supervisor.. IF YOU DECIDE TO MIVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS KNOW THIS!!! They allow pitbulls with absolutely no paperwork to be in the complex while countless children are running around, the sheriffs are here at least 1-2 a week (minimum), the gates are always broken or not functioning properly, the trash removal system that we pay for has been an absolute disaster since I moved in 3 years ago and they have raised the rent on me over $400 in 2 years.. so when you move in, the next year they will jack you up at least $200 if you rent the 3 bedroom and they know most people would rather stay than deal with moving… the maintenance guys really try to do a good job but their leadership handcuffs them and tried to tell them how to do their jobs with absolutely no maintenance or trades knowledge whatsoever..The maintenance service is terrible and I have been told by them that they have to rig everything up because they are not allowed to recommend that new equipment or appliances be installed without reprisal from the manager me and the neighbors refer to as Miss Trunchbull because she is a mean, inconsiderate, belligerent, callous person that seems to get pleasure from exerting the minuscule power she has over her employees and the residents of the park at Chelsea.."

"This has been such a great community. Staff is nice and helpful. The people are nice. It's like our own neighborhood here. The Villas are really nice and spacious too! I definitely recommend this complex."

"My family moved in around June/July. We love where we live. I see a lot of reviews on here about previous management and since Melissa has been in that office it’s been great. She is extremely kind, listens to residents and does what she can with in her power to make sure the property is maintained and clean. The front gates work they have security that drives through at night which is nice and for the price of what you get in square feet is more then reasonable considering the market. The pool has received a makeover and is starting to look really great. Is a quite area with plenty of nature around. We live were we live !! If your looking to move definitely look for yourself this is a 10/10 recommend see Melissa you won’t be disappointed she’s the BEST !!"
