"My room. 1021 Air-conditioning didn't work. Ceiling fan didn't work. A lot of building Air-conditioning noise. Curtains didn't meet so there was a large gap to let light in the morning. My friends stayed in the room next-door and had non of my complaints. The view from my room was beautiful and it was kept so clean."

"We stayed at this hotel for a quick getaway. Nice location, boardwalk and breakfast. Outdoor seating was lovely. The only thing we struggled with was service. Room service was a joke. We asked for an extra pillow and adjusted the air temp in the room. No one showed up for about 3 hrs. Called back they finally brought us a pillow but no one came up to fix the temperature. Checking in took half hour!! Not sure why the representative was slow keep getting distracted. People traveling from far just want to check into the room, no one has time spend half hour for a room. When everything is already paid for. Very annoying. Coffee shop was good. Breakfast offered lots of choices. I would probably try another hotel in Miami next time, for service sake."

"I recently stayed at Riu Plaza during my holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is perfect, with a bus stop right in front that provides easy access to the free trolley for exploring South Beach. Despite being a busy hotel, the staff was incredibly friendly and made our stay truly memorable. Special mention goes to the woman with the glasses at the reception and the housekeeping team for their exceptional service. The restaurant at Riu Plaza is also worth mentioning, as the breakfast was delicious and the service provided by Richard and Alina was top-notch. The only minor drawback maybe was that the room felt a bit old, but it was equipped with everything we needed. As someone working in the hotel industry, I was particularly impressed with the overall experience at Riu Plaza. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and great dining options. :)"
