The rooms were spotlessly clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the most spectacular breakfast, both mornings. Beverly's culinary skills are awe-inspiring; every dish served was a delightful masterpiece. The breakfast not only surpassed our expectations in terms of taste but also catered to our allergies and preferences. "My sister booked this B&B as a "getting ready" location for her and the bridesmaids before her wedding. Our time there was amazing! The location is gorgeous and peaceful, right on the water. The house is clean and spacious. There was plenty of space for the hair and make-up artists, and the photographer to work. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and are all cute, cozy, and welcoming. The host's hospitality was above and beyond. The French toast, breakfast potatoes, quiches, and fruit tray she made us were delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and to future wedding parties looking for a place to prepare for the big day."

"I stayed at Thurston house with my bridal party this weekend with their Bridesmaid party get-ready package and couldn’t have been happier. The Inn keeper Beverly is amazing and took super good care of us. Not only is the bed and breakfast beautiful and spacious for photos but it’s so close to my venue Casa Feliz in Winter Park. Beverly let me come tour the bed and breakfast and coordinated with me on vendors that would be coming to join us on the wedding day. We were able to get ready in the beautiful common areas and Beverly served a breakfast buffet for my entire bridal party and I while we got hair and makeup done. She was super accommodating to any changes I wanted to make and for any assistance the vendors needed. I recommend it for any bride. Thank you again so much Beverly! It was truly a magical day"

"Thurston House is a treasure!!! Beverly, the owner, is kind and very accommodating. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and makes you feel very "at home". There are amazing snacks and coffee/tea bar at all times and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The space surrounding the home was well kept and a gorgeous array of flowers, plants, bushes, trees, with a lake view and trail surrounding the lake. We will 100% be going back to Thurston House!"
