"Great fenced in park area before you enter the beach for the dogs. There is a separate area for smaller dogs. They have a couple hoses to make it easy for your to clean your dog after the beach. The beach is full of all size dogs running and playing. My dog loves it there. She loves to run in the sand."

"Excellent beach access! Beautiful place to find shells, shark teeth (if you’re into diving), and enjoy the beach! Plenty of parking for the different entrances. The dogs are limited to a small portion of the beach, so if you’re not interested in dogs, you’re able to easily avoid that section."

"This is the only dog beach we have been to in the area but we have been to many others along Florida's coast for some comparison. It's easy to find the parking lot where there are showers and restrooms. The entrance to the dog beach is via a medium sized fenced dog park next to the parking lot and then a 50 yard walk along a fenced concrete path to the beach's entrance. We visited a few days after a hurricane so there was a lot of organic debris washed ashore which gave the dogs extra treasures to sniff out and pee on. The "sand" on this beach is course and abrasive to the skin. It can get compacted into dog's paws and is a pain to rinse off as it is made of tiny small smooth disk. There is a 2-3 foot drop off into the water and trying to climb in and out over that can get uncomfortable after a while. Larger dogs (40lbs+) can easily navigate it but is may be challenging for smaller dogs. The beach is sandwiched between two other public beaches and is about 150 yards long. It wasn't too busy when we visited with about 100 people. As with all dog beaches, there are irresponsible pet owners who allow their dogs to harass others. Overall, it's a nice beach for active dogs and we will certainly visit again if we are in the area."

"Amazing place to spend a day with your dog. There were about a hundred dogs and their owners there on a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful water. Nice shells. The white sand beach gets very hot to walk on, so come prepared. Also don't forget extra water on the beach as the faucets are near the parking lot and quite a ways. Washing station in the attached dog park for on the way out."

"Easy to find. Easy parking. Friendly dogs and people. Found out dogs are prohibited on all beaches in this area but the designated dog beach park saved the day. Just sharing a few pictures of our babies at the beach. To enter the beach you must enter the dog park at the entrance close to the parking area. We and a few dog owners found out the hard way. There is no entrance to the dog beach if not through the park. Please be mindful, be present and conscious of our Mother Earth. Always leave a place better than you found it."
