Publix Super Market at Sarasota Village Plaza

"Pretty much the best publix I've ever been to. The customer service is ALWAYS excellent, every visit, no matter what. Has to be the most consistent experience I've had customer service wise. Really excellent place to be and do my shopping. The deli dept gets a 100/100. Always hot food, always ready to help, fast and efficient."

"My girlfriend and I come to this Publix because it is so close to home for us. Last week we both went in together and stopped at the restroom before we starting shopping. I used the men’s stall and another person came in use the restroom and left. When I came out of the bathroom my girlfriend was was waiting on me and the other guy came out and gave her a hard time that I was talking to him etc and I had no communication with him nor ever saw him while I was in the stall. When she told me I wanted to see who it was so I was aware of our surroundings and who he was in case when we left the store. We walked out discreetly for a few seconds she was able to discreetly point him out to me. We were walking back in the store and I would guess he saw her when we came out and as we were entering the store again he charged at us from behind. I had to move my girlfriend and put her behind me to keep this creep away. We won’t be coming to this Publix any longer I would rather drive to another location that doesn’t let homeless hang around the store and let them use their restrooms. I am concerned for her to go to that Publix by herself. With all the things going on in the world currently we will take the extra time to go to another location. Publix has a great product and reputation but they need to clean up their outside areas and manage that better. I did ask for a manager and explained what had happened and two of them did go outside and the guy that ran up on us had vanished quickly. I don’t want to be in that situation again buying food for us and I definitely do not want her there alone. You would think we are describing Walmart but this is PUBLIX!!!"

"This is my go to Publix! Everyone is super sweet and helpful. A special mention to Yaisi in the sandwich area. I came in with a big and complicated order and see ensured everything was perfect with a great big smile on her face! I work in a market myself and that's what I look for in my team! She's a great contribution to you guys!"

"This place is a wonderful place to shop. They have great Buy One Get One deals weekly and I take full advantage. They offer a range of customer service options from rain checks to ordering and getting in stock your favorite items. Publix is a staple of the south and when one leaves they will truly crave a Publix Sub with your choice of bread and Publix or Boar' Head meat to go inside the bread. They also have a great sub dressing, don't forget that."
