"Great day playing Baytowne. Day before Thanksgiving 2023. Service was wonderful, staff was attentive. Very busy and pace of play was good. It rained alot the day before so some fairways were soggy, the greens were in the seeding period, but overall great experience. Recommended."

"The only reason I gave this course two stars was the cart girl. Everything else was below average at best. The greens were atrocious, the outside staff was not friendly at all and the experience was just awful. I am a 5 handicap and a two putt from 10 feet was a great achievement. Save your money and go to the Links or Raven or just stay home. You should be ashamed to charge anyone to have this experience."

"Greens were almost not playable. Holes had not been moved in days if not weeks. Greens had not been cut in a week or more. The greens keeper could have rolled the greens if there was an issue cutting them. Absolutely the worst greens I have ever played on. Let’s quit supporting this type high priced junk, unprofessional course maintenance."

"Greens were atrocious. Likened to shag carpet with a touch of mange. Putts would jump straight up 2 inches high when rolling towards the hole. We’ve played recently punched/sanded greens that were more acceptable. To add insult to injury, the cart guy said every group has complained about the greens for many weeks, so he proceeded to tell us how much better The Raven and The Links courses were."

"This course is incredibly overrated! Unless I am missing something, I do not get what people like about it. Out of the 3 public courses here, this is by far the worst one. The greens are patchy and bumpy and look like junk. A lot of the tee boxes are in rough shape. Plus, the design really isn’t all that great, just another Florida style golf course. If you’re going to play at Sandestin, play raven or the links! But the good thing is, the staff here is so incredibly polite and friendly. They treat you like a king here."
