"The place is under construction, so the breakfast was in a room which was fine but the sausage was pale gray and eggs looked running so we didn't eat there. The room was small. There was a desk but no room to move the chair to it. Also, there was a full-size fridge in the room, which was nice but nowhere to hang up your clothes at all. The rod for clothes was over the fridge. Staff was friendly and it was quiet there."

"Seems to be undergoing a remodeling and is in a state of disrepair. It is a no frills motel, no pictures on walls. First room TV was inoperative but second was good. Hotel was quiet and breakfast was hot and very good."

"We have been in the hospitality business for over 30 years and in the cleaning business for 19. Everywhere I stay is picked apart and I am extremely honest with my reviews. I have stayed at the other hotels in the area and this one is the best hands down. I feel a sense of relief just coming in the door. Tess is a special spirit! If there is a problem she is going to fix it on the spot. Michelle seems extremely serious and she is. I also feel as though she is handling a staff full of diversity. Which can be rewarding and exhausting at the same time. This staff is full of hard workers with detail oriented personalities. They all receive 5 stars from me!"

"Had a great experience, the overnight guys at the front lobby were super helpful and friendly!! The guy keeping the breakfast bar clean was on top of it, and always had food coming and kept everything super clean and organized. The housekeeping did a great job keep the rooms clean everyday. The hotel was always super clean and super close to the beach!! We will for sure stay here again on our next vacation to Destin!"
