"I’ve stayed at a few Selina’s and if you have too I think you’ll find this one doesn’t really feel like the typical Selina. It’s a bit more rundown, with less common spaces. There are pros and cons for every type of traveler - Pros: I booked the biggest single room which unpon entering was very cute and clean. Had mini-fridge and coffee maker and retro decor with a very nice bathroom. Cons: entering the room I did notice a weird smell- after about an hour in the room I thought I would acclimate to it (old motel room that was probably smoked in for 30 years before it became a Selina) but I just couldn’t get over it. My sinuses started acting up so I asked to be switched to a different room. Pro: front desk was very accommodating in moving me to a new room but unfortunately the smell was the same Con: I ended up just getting a refund and luckily the other Selina had availability - I couldn’t have slept in the smell of that room for two nights- If you’re less smell sensitive though you may have a perfectly lovely experience. They do have a cute bar and its location is ok. But overall I recommend the other Selina as it’s more what you’ll be used to if you’ve stayed with them before."

"Why don’t the rooms have a tv??? The first room I booked was not worth the price. The AC also stopped working. However I was upgraded to a better room which was worth the money. The staff was helpful in the manner. I loved mad radio the club but at night if you’re on that side of the building you can hear the music."

"Great hostel, stayed for a couple days. Service was awesome, theirs a nice pool (8 ft deep) dont go cannon ball the pool like I did you'll be warned lol. People were great just an all around money saver. Good place to stay to get around Miami."
