"The only reason I give a one star is because that was the only option and for location only. We checked into 250 Collins in south Miami Beach last Friday for three nights with such disappointment. The pictures online looked nice but as soon as I walked in the door, I realized that they have a really good photographer that uses a great filter. He was able to filter out all of the dirt and all of the beat up dirty, dingy woodwork doors, floors, ceilings, bathrooms , light fixtures, etc. etc. When we first checked in it was dark and a lot of the lightbulbs didn't work so we managed to replace them ourselves, we removed lightbulbs from one of the chandeliers, and added them to the lights that weren't working and headed straight to dinner. when we got home around midnight I turned on more of the lights and was able to see how dingy and unkept the unit was. our bedroom curtains in the master bedroom were stained yellow with mold spots all over them. there was mold on the ceilings, the bathroom mirror was chipped, The shower handle fell off , the toilet was running and the dirt and the grime surrounding the toilet area was just disgusting. There was a dirty plunger and a dirty toilet bowl brush sitting next to the toilet along with a half an inch of dust on what seem to be a sealed off pipe in the wall. when I emailed them at around 1230am that night to let them know how unhappy I was and grossed out they told me they would send someone in the morning to take care of it. I told him not to bother changing the curtains because that seems like a lengthy job, and all I wanted was for the place to be thoroughly cleaned so I could shower and sleep in comfort. I told them they had permission to enter the unit and that we were leaving at around 10 AM. We left the unit with all of our valuables because I knew they were entering the unit and there was not a safe in the unit we stayed out until about 6 PM when we returned the place was never touched , it was exactly how we left it. No one came in to Clean and then I noticed that someone came in and just removed the curtains. They didn't even change them and then I reached out to let them know the toilet was still running, and the place was still disgusting and they apologized and just kept sending me back messages from different people every time saying that they would take care of it no one ever took care of it. No one came to clean. I was actually grossed out to even sleep there, walk on the carpet, I never let my children even sit on the couch , they basically brushed me off until I was ready to check out after three days. and offered me a very small refund which didn't even cover a lunch that we spent while we were out all day waiting for them to clean the unit. I'll be sure to put my reviews on any Internet review I come across. Roami ruined the only 3 days we had all year to vacation."

"Absolutely beautiful home right on the hills. Our party of 8 had a great time for the weekend. The host was extremely communicative and accessible to reach if anything was needed. Will definitely be booking this place again in the future!"

"we stayed at The Carmela great + Apartment is very modern, clean, well equipped + we kindly got a late check out not great: - customer service is organized in a terrible way, for one request by email i had 4 differente agents replying . that lead to me repeating myself & to miscommunication among them. one ticket should be dealt by one person - very soft bed , terrible for my back. i would not be able to come back - they claim to make sustainable efforts but leave lights on in the lobby all day when the sun is out & have the air conditioning on full blast on the hallways (why ??!?)"

"We were very pleased with the apartment! The rooftop terrace is amazing, with tons of space and seating. It was even better than we expected! The bedrooms are very nice, and the beds are super comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are also very nice. The apartment had everything we needed! The location is also fantastic! We were able to walk a couple blocks to watch the parades. And we walked to the French Quarter, which wasn't too far away. We would absolutely stay here again! The host is very helpful also. One time during our stay, the elevator stopped working, and they had it fixed within a couple hours. This is really a very nice place to stay in NOLA, and I highly recommend staying here!"
