"Very overpriced I must say. Not just talking about the price for the room. Even thought we had a bottle of wine in the fridge, me and my wife felt like taking a glass of white wine in the bar. So without asking for the price, I ordered the two glasses of wine. It turned out to be $38 ! The bar is nothing special at all, more like sitting in a hallway, not even music, a TV was on. Could just aswell stayed in our room, 38 is several bottles of wine at the store."

"Arrived for a 3 night stay early January. We checked in online on the Hyatt app at 11am as we were leaving home and room was already ready. Check in was smooth enough and breakfast explained to us. The lobby is bright, airy and I personally love the blue and white theme throughout . Location is great, walkable to restaurants and waterfront, but of course there is a lot of traffic noise, sirens etc. Upon arrival at our room, I did feel like we had upset someone as it seemed we had one of the worst rooms in the hotel. We were facing the back of the building with a view of the parking lot and the first room next to the ice machine and it seems like there may be a mechanical room behind that for the elevator bank. Every half an hour or so it would sound like a 747 was taking off for a few minutes then stop. There’s very little to no soundproofing and you can hear people in the corridor and of course the ice machine. We did call to ask to move rooms but were told the one room available was a first floor one and I thought with the traffic that would potentially be even worse. AC units are old fashioned in wall ones and are also very noisy. Bed was comfy although we did have to ask for extra pillows but they were brought promptly, unlike the towels a couple days later I had to ask 3 times over a period of 2 hours for. Room was clean, and well planned out although a little small, with a mini fridge, large TV and separate storage and drinks area. If you are sleeping by the window, the space at the end of the bed to get round is a only about a foot if that so you are shuffling sideways to get in to bed or climb over the top! The breakfast is adequate, the usual fayre, limited but sufficient. The seating area is small though and was often full. You need to bus your own table when you’ve finished which is fine but I wish they wiped the tables down in between guests. Parking is undercover at street level and some levels above. It’s expensive, but it’s a downtown location, with ample disabled parking right next to the lobby entrance. Be ready to look for the entrance, with the one way system it’s easy to drive past! Overall a just OK stay aside from the sleep quality due to room location. If you are WOH members, we do have status but no benefits from it at this location."

"Rooms are fine - nothing special. Really flat and worn out pillows, but they did bring extra. Also needed to get extra towels, which they removed on the third day they cleaned so we had to get again. It is very loud - we were on the 5th floor (highest) and could hear cars going by all night. Not very soundproofed. Breakfast is also fine. Food was okay, not amazing, but typical for hotel breakfast. Lobby was nice and clean. Staff at front desk really friendly. Parking convenient, though expensive at $27/day (though reasonable for the area). Only irritation was that housekeeping knocked at 9a on our last day (do not disturb sign was out) asking if we were checking out soon. We thought that was rude. Was walkable to everything, very convenient. This was our first time here. If we come back, we will try another downtown hotel, even if a little further walk."

"I definitely really like this hotel. I have stayed here several time with friends. The staff is very nice, very friendly. In my opinion. They are very informative during check-in. The cleaning staff has never interrupted my sleep, or interrupted me ever during my stays here. I’ve never had an issue with my room, everything seems to be in place and well clean. I haven’t really ventured out, to really speak on the location. I just like using this hotel as a staycation spot. They do offer a complementary breakfast, which is definitely a perk because a lot of hotels don’t really do that anymore. And they also have a restaurant and bar in the lobby."

"Really clean, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Fitness center could use some love, but at least they have something! Only real complaint is that the room kept getting stuffy and then cold while I was sleeping."
