Homewood Suites by Hilton West Palm Beach

"Homewood Suites is like a home away from home equipped with a kitchenette and a spacious living room at a reasonable price. Their hot breakfast is not highly recommended but there is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Then again you can cook your own breakfast in your very own kitchen! They are located near downtown and many popular attractions."

"We checked into this hotel for 11 nights because my daughter was having surgery in a nearby hospital. When choosing where to stay we considered Airbnb’s nearby for half the price and twice the space. The only reason we chose the hotel over the Airbnb was because we wanted housekeeping services and didn’t want to be busy cleaning when we knew we would be going back and forth to the hospital . Lo and behold, we are here on day 9 and housekeeping has shown up exactly once!! On day 2 we complained to the front desk who told us that they only clean the rooms every third day! Nowhere in the booking was this information disclosed! On day 5 we again complained as our room still wasn’t cleaned even once. Housekeeping showed up on day 6!! When I spoke to the front desk clerk she explained that they are having a lot of short term guests and can’t keep up with the housekeeping demands. Why is that my problem?? I will never again stay at a Hilton hotel. This was the worst experience ever!!"

"I called ahead to request an early check-in and upgrades, as I am a Diamond member. Monique answered the phone but didn't sound happy to assist me. When I arrived, I found Monique sitting in the lobby area where the TV was (perhaps that's why she wasn't too keen on helping). To my disappointment, I was told that no upgrades were available, even though I was informed earlier that one suite was still open. Despite this, I accepted the response given and checked in. Arrived to room and wanted to freshen up to find all the bottles of body wash shampoo etc were empty . Tried to phone the lobby only to find out the phone in the room was not working . Tried to iron my clothes to find a broken ironing board and no iron . The room cost me 230 dollars . You would think i would get better service and maybe working items at best . Videos attached because I’m sure they will think otherwise . Breakfast staff (two ladies) were amazing . Greeted you with nothing but smiles and positivity. Very friendly . Night supervisor was helpful as well . Nice upgraded rooms clean but no customer service AT ALL"

"Homewood is one of my favorite places to stay when I travel! and well kept is and this location is no exception!...and I'd rate it as one of the best ones I've stayed in so far...and there have been several! The hotel is clean and well kept! Staff was wonderful and very accommodating, regardless of whatever department they worked in. Reception had great suggestion on how to maneuver around the city and places to eat. It was my 1st visit to West Palm Beach; definitely won't be my last!"

"This is my second time staying here this year. It I a great hotel, reasonably priced, and just far enough away from the craziness of downtown West Palm Beach and the marinas to not have to deal with crazy traffic and noise. But it's only a 12 minute drive away. Very close to the Tanger Outlets. The free breakfast was excellent! My only complaint was that I wasn't even welcomed as a Hilton Honors member, let alone being a Diamond member. I also had to request my bottled waters / snack, in which I was met with a look of annoyance from the one front desk personnel. It's not to feed my ego, but I live my life on the road at least 1 week every month, and it's just one of the little things that makes my travels nicer."
