Hyatt Place Boca Raton/Downtown 100 East Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL 33432

"Boca hyatt Rooms, large enough. Seemed clean enough. Sofa is stained and that's honestly kind of off putting. Fridge was unplugged, had to call maintenance to get it plugged back in and turned on. TV has basic cable by Comcast The door off the hallway has no acoustic properties at all. Everything going on in the hallway is 100% audible in the room. INCLUDING THE ICE MACHINE DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM OUR ROOM. Bed is comfortable and quiet. Pillows will deflate faster than our economy. amenities: pool was cold and didnt seem to he heated(february) so didn't get to let the kids go in. The "gym" is something you'd likely find in some old guys basement. A couple of light dumbells, a treadmill and a cable tower. Breakfast, seriously don't bother. The eggs are the beaters kind that would honestly taste better out of your microwave. The eggs in a hole were so overcooked the egg made more crunch sound than the toast. The bacon was fine. Specialty item was French toast, I've made better from the frozen stuff I buy for the kids. The rest was stale cereal and something they call Oatmeal. The coffee was OK, they have flavor syrup to mask the taste. They claim its Starbucks but who knows. Location. Its in boca downtown which is probably convenient for some. The beach isn't far you could easily walk there if you don't have young children. There are a few restaurants in the area, mostly high end top dollar type. Nothing family friendly. Not a lot to do with kids in the area in general. Parks and stuff but that's mostly it. You'll need to drive anywhere else. Staff seemed pleasant enough. The kitchen area and cleaning crew hardly speak English. The front desk on arrival was friendly and waived our parking since we stayed the week. They offered to put us in a suite but due to "air quality concerns" every suite was unavailable. Oh well. We also had inquired ahead of time to make sure our room would have a tub for kids to bath, they had put us in a room with no tub, so they had to move us around such was frustrating. Some decent restaurants nearby. Flanigan across the street was good for American foods. Kixis and Another Broken Egg were awesome for breakfast. And don't forget to try Just Baked for your late night ice cream and cookies."

"Great location but otherwise an underwhelming experience. The rooms are a bit dated. Surfaces are worn, shower had mold. The bathrooms have an unecessary glass door. The front desk staff seemed uninterested and didn't even greet guests. Breakfast was alright. The most annoying thing during my stay was the hotel "driveway" on the 1st St side. It's small and has been overtaken by the neighboring restaurant's valet service. We couldn't even be dropped off without the valet bothering us. We were unloading luggage when a guy jogs over and says we're blocking their parked car (yes, they park their cars in front of the hotel door)."

"Beds uncomfortable, The duvet sheets are extremely thin ..i walked in my room, it smelled like pee. I definitely felt very uncomfortable the entire time I had to go to target to get flip flops to take a shower in because the bathroom smelled like pee and there were stains inside the shower when I got there like they didn’t clean the bathroom. Smell of my room did not smell clean at all, it’s like they only tidy up the room for the next guest to get there. Definitely can’t stay again."

"Nice hotel- Complimentary breakfast is excellent. I slept well- the beds were comfortable. I didn't need to rentna car- as everything I needed was within walking distance - IF you like to walk! Nothing is super close, for walking - but the weather is agreeable & walking was pleasant from here! I came to Boca, for surgery and a new smile @ Done in One, and they set me up here. It's a great hotel- I didn't have any complaints!"

"The hotel is very clean and the personnel attentive and friendly. However the hotel itself feels old. The rooms seem old, there is no view, the hotel is not close to the beach. It is surrounded by nice restaurants and maybe a good place to stop for a night or two, but it’s not a holiday hotel. It’s great value for solo business travel."
