Boca Chita Key Campground is a beautiful island campground located in Miami, Florida, United States. Accessible only by boat, this campground offers a unique and secluded camping experience. The campground features stunning waterfront views, grassy camping areas, picnic tables, and grills. While there are toilets available, there are no showers, sinks, or drinking water on the island.

Elliott Key, the park's largest island, also offers camping facilities with restrooms, cold water showers, picnic tables, and grills. Drinking water is available, but campers are advised to bring their own as a precaution. Both islands have restrictions on camping duration and campers are advised to pack out all trash as there is no trash collection on the islands.

Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. to ensure a peaceful camping experience. Insects may be prevalent year-round, especially during warmer months. Pets are allowed on Elliott Key within developed areas only, but are not permitted on Boca Chita Key.

Campers can enjoy hiking trails on Elliott Key that wind through the tropical hardwood hammock. Swimming is not permitted in boat harbors, but fishing is allowed with a Florida saltwater fishing license. The taking of lobster is not permitted in Biscayne Bay. Boca Chita Key Campground offers a unique and unforgettable camping experience for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

"This place is amazing. I was there this weekend with my family. We stayed camping! The weather was nice so windy that we didn't feel any bugs. The water was clear and the kids loved the snorkeling experiance."

"Beautiful place to go snorkeling and camping. Well kept campground with bbq grills and big roof covered areas with tables and chairs. If going during the summer bring lots of mosquito repellent, they are in full force and can make the experience miserable if not prepared. Very well protected small harbor with good seawall to moor vessels."

"Its a great escape from reality. Can relax in the water also can camp for the night. But let me warn you the mosquitos this time of year were unbearable. We went with the intent of spending the night as soon as we got there we went to find a place for our tents and we all were greeted with hundreds of mosquitoes we went running children included. We ran to find all our bug spray that only helped a little we still got bit walking around to view the island."

"My favorite island. The week days are the best because is less crowded. Over the summer (July and August) Watch out for the mosquitos. It is also a great place for camping. Great sunset every time."
