"If there would be 10 stars I would give them all to Selina Hotel. Starting from the reception Ayeli and Victor were just amazing with everything, very friendly, we felt like we went to someone in our family. Then, we me Glen (I believe the manager) , he also was amazing. Starting from now and on my stays will always be at Selina, and will recommend anyone I know to come and stay here. Location is perfect and prices are reasonable, or I can say best prices around. These place and these people making me come to Miami very often now."

"This hotel is so awful, I was compelled to write this review before I even checked out! Let's start with the fact that the entrance of the hotel is very difficult to find. I pulled up to a closed gate and was instructed to call a number from a flyer. I called once and no one picked up. I called again and someone answered, but they were confused about the closed gate. After a bit, they realized the main gate was closed and opened it for me. As I walked in, I immediately saw a DEAD RAT on the ground. The worst part is there were several hotel staff walking past the VERY visible rat. Disgusting! This hotel is absolutely not ADA accessible. There are no accommodations if you can't use stairs. The stairs feel like they're about to fall apart in any second. The rooms are incredibly outdated and don't have AC. They also were not clean - ours had OLD HAIR in the shower! The door to the bathroom door would not close at all. The music is also blasting outside and you can hear it clearly from your room. The fact that they charge a resort fee without having all of the amenities of a normal resort is criminal. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"It's a hostile that feels like a tropical paradise. The room we stayed in was barebones, but the bed was comfortable. It would be a perfect location for a really fun wedding. If you go, definitely walk around the grounds and explore. There's a pool, outdoor bar with dance floor, a bus lounge, library lounge, and relaxing palm tree nooks all around."

"A very unique stay. I work downtown so it was perfect for what I needed - a 15 minute walk to the courts and a peaceful atmosphere. Definitely a bargain considering the room was large and the landscaping was fabulous and reception was really kind. The buildings are old Florida style so they’re not ‘sparkling clean’ and I would’ve loved a TV but was overall super pleased. And they have a resident cat, which was awesome."

"Beautiful little oasis in the middle of a residential Miami neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown Miami and buses. The ambiance here is wonderful. A community of boarding houses nestled in big old palm trees with tropical plants and flowers all over the property. It evokes a feeling of Hemingway’s old world Florida. The staff was super friendly and cheery. The bar was gorgeous, a little However, the one thing I did not like was the uncleanness of the room. The room was actually huge, with a nice king-sized bed, shower with a tub, old wood floors and big windows. It could have been so lovely but the floors and surfaces had obviously not been cleaned in a while. The furniture was beat up and stained, the bed was kind of dirty and the pillows had a funk. Even after the staff came to clean in the morning, the floors were still dirty, surfaces still dusty, and a I saw the same dead spider in the corner the entire time. This is one area that they could and should definitely improve on. Aesthetically, this place is really great. But it could definitely use some TLC when it comes to cleanliness."
