"Do not stay here. 1st it isn't a hotel but private rooms rented out air bnb style. Second the staff here clearly hate their jobs. They are rude, unhelpful and down right nasty to you especially if you are in one of these "private rooms". Bar and restaurant are closed which is not listed anywhere. According to a guest it has been closed for 3 years. Anyone seen working on it? Nope. On check out day we had till 11am to leave the room. We went out for breakfast and came back at 1030. We got up the elevator and to our room only to find we couldn't get inside. When we went down to the desk the person working there was absolutely unwilling to help us get back in. He admitted that THEY have been having an issue with the system checking people put early. After an unreasonable amount of fighting we got him to reissue only one of our cards even with time left on our room. He was rude as all hell and super disrespectful. I'll pay more to stay somewhere that is a real hotel not this bull. 100% not worth it. Also pool is listed as dawn to dusk but they operate 10-6 hours. The terrace is only opened till 11pm and then you can't get back inside. Coconut grove is great this place and the people who work here blow"

"This hotel stay was a pretty mixed bag. First, the good. We liked the location. The room was spacious, 99% clean, and well-appointed with fridge and microwave. Price was pretty okay for everything you get, and included parking in the attached garage. We even had a bit of a sea view from our very tiny balcony. Email communication was pleasant and good. Now, for the bad. Front desk staff was not competent. I usually wouldn't complain, and I'm not going to get into the details in this review, but it was pretty bad. We heard the guest in front of us ask to speak to the manager about the clerk that eventually served us, and I understand now. Our shower was completely out of body wash. Given our experience with the customer service staff, we didn't even want to ask and just got our own soap. The building has more than 20 floors, and although there are 4 elevators, it seemed like only 1 or 2 were operating at any given time. This made coming and going a slog, as the hotel guest rooms are mostly on the 17th floor. Many people wound up riding the elevator up for a bit when they really wanted to go down, and vice versa. Other guests would audibly grumble whenever the elevator would stop at yet another floor. The restaurant is closed for renovations. Maybe our nightly rate would have been higher had it been open, so perhaps it worked out better for us this way. Not really such a con, but more of an FYI. Soundproofing in the rooms was not good. Street noise was far below, so not a problem, but conversations could be heard clear as a bell in the hallway. Luckily most guests were considerate about the noise. On balance, this hotel stay provided most of my must-haves, so the cons were tolerable. Even though we had some issues, I would stay here again if I wanted to be in the Coconut Grove neighborhood."

"Our suite met all expectations! Comfy beds, spacious living area, great views & walking distance to a vibrant, bustling community. The biggest failure was the WIFI which kept dropping out & trying to reconnect also had its own issues!!"

"Even though arriving late the front desk staff was nice, she had a smile on her face and made my check in so easy. The room was spacious, had basic essentials to cook and the bay view room was worth the extra money."

"Would not recommend. My family stayed in one of the private suites and booked through Agoda. I do not know if the owner together with Agoda is running a scam, but Agoda says I cancelled the booking while the property seems to have charged me some kind of no-show. My family most certainly stayed and we have photos to prove it. Agoda will not help me get a receipt and the property is impossible to contact. Unless either Agodo or the property resolves this, it gets 1 star, but should be zero stars. Also, need to mention that front desk staff that uses those of the hotel were very unfriendly."
