"Magnificent place to rest"
"We rented one of the townhouses over christmas. We checked in before noon and were told they needed at least 4 hrs to clean. We had no problem with this and came back around 5 pm. The house is very badly maintained. The walls, doors and carpets are filthy. The only cleaning performed was to put fresh sheets and towels. I wiped the kitchen counters and tables with a wipe and it came out black. One of the remotes had a layer of dark fat on them. The chairs had jelly and other spills on them. Behind the bathroom doors was dust and pubic hair. My kids played on the living room carpet for a few minutes and their hands and knees were as if they had played on the street. I could point out several other unpleasant findings like chewing gum, dirty cups etc but can't make this long. Housekeeping came to clean the showers after we complained but I ended up going to buy some cleaning products and cleaned one bathroom and shower myself just to be sure. The staff is very nice, but unfortunately the maintenance and cleaning is deficient. I regret having changed our original reservations for this hotel, I do not recommend to book here."
