Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando at FLAMINGO CROSSINGS® Town Center

"This hotel is well worth the money! (after all, they are competing with WDW for customers). My first impression was that it is modern, homey, and very clean. We were greeted by friendly faces - in fact, during our entire stay, we encountered countless friendly, accommodating staff. Our room was spotless and quite spacious. Although the room didn't have an optimum view (I would have liked to have had a pool view) it suited our needs perfectly. An added bonus was free daily breakfast [if I'm being honest, the eggs were pretty DISGUSTING], which had a nice variety for every palate - especially those delicious Mickey waffles! On our first day, we enjoyed a lovely poolside lunch, prepared by a gentleman who was very accommodating and AWESOME. It's conveniently located near Wendy's, Target, Starbucks, and a variety of eateries. Unfortunately I am a WDW deluxe resort snob and even though it's located just off Western Way, that runs into Coronado Springs Resort, that isn't close enough for me. If I'm being realistic, this trip out, it really wasn't an issue, since we visited Orlando to help our son move, not visit any theme parks. All in all, money well spent. Would we stay there again? Absolutely. I only have one small complaint - the glass shower door (which is stationary), combined with the unadjustable shower head made quite a wet mess on the floor when we showered. That plus there was the fact that the bathroom didn't have a fan, which was rather inconvenient."

"Great front desk person with easy check in. The lady who was working at the front desk was by herself, but was doing a great job, but it would be nice with a full hotel to have more than one person working. I was traveling with two dogs and this hotel is very pet friendly. They have a bar with some food available and free breakfast."

"A convenient location with modern and clean rooms! Just was lacking in some areas. Many times at breakfast things were mislabeled or out so be careful those with food allergies! If you don’t leave your room early for the day then you’ll miss housekeeping as they start super early and won’t come back. And if you comeback to the hotel late at night you might not be able to find parking on-site even though you are paying for it and then have to park off site. Not that great after a long day in the parks having to walk farther and then have a dirty room too. You would think they have enough spaces for a spot for each room? Also had kids playing around in the parking lot causing lots of traffic."

"The inn was absolutely incredible the service was top-notch. From the moment I made the reservation through Expedia and confirmed my stay everything was smoothly. But unfortunately we had a bit of difficulty with our bank in regards to the reservation. So we had to put a down payment but for some reason it was not going through and it had to be before a certain time frame to reserve our room. Nevertheless, the front desk was super understanding and made the exception to pay when we arrive after check in time. The room was exceptional and the breakfast buffet exquisite.The shuttle to the park was definitely a perk to have to be near to it. Definitely recommend to come back to this place."
