Phoenix All Suites West Hotel

"It was our first time in Gulf Shores. Condo was very clean and mostly comfortable. The beds were nice.....and that's saying something from me because I always dislike the beds everywhere. The condo itself was the bare minimum, but with that being said we paid a bare minimum price. We stayed in 902 right on the beach. The view was perfect. The beach was awesome!!"

"This is the most ridiculous lying hotel. Do not be fooled thinking these rooms are individually owned. They are on VRBO but are actually owned by Brett Robinson. Do not expect to check in when they say checkin is. It is 6:10pm and they just entered my room to clean it. Whatever you do do not yell at the desk clerk it is not his fault. I watched people frustrated with him he handled himself well. BRETT ROBINSON HOU NEED TO BE BETTER THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ON AN OFF WEEKEND. I WOULD HATE TO SEE WHAT IT IS LIKE DURING THE SUMMER IF THIS IS THE FIRST WEEKEND OF OCTOBER. It is now 7pm and still waiting. There are others waiting. Patience is good but downright telling me I have to leave by 11 I think I will take my 3 hours at the end"

"Service was horrible. Asked the office about the television and she was very rude and disrespectful. The room was disgusting and our toilet and shower were clogged. It stunk horribly. My poor family wanted a nice vacation and we did not receive it here. The lady on the phone was the icing on the cake. I was very kind and said yes ma’am but she was rude and hateful. She continued to state that we were being recorded but I didn’t say anything wrong. Play the recording back. I dare you."

"Location is excellent for a beach vacation. The apartment was very nice and clean. Most cooking utensils and dishes are in the kitchen but there are no seasoning or dish soap so bring your own. Our room used a code to unluck the door which is very convenient because you can go to the beach or pool and not worry about carrying a key. The view to the gulf is beautiful."

"We stayed in room 1102 at the end of May. The location is excellent. The hotel was just what we needed for 2 people. It was not fancy, but it was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Over all our experience & stay there was very nice & relaxing. The only complaint(s) I have is that the water in the 1/2 bath was cut off due to a leak in the sink. When you used the sink to wash your hands, you had to turn the water on & then back off. It wasn't a big deal at all. The lady at the front desk working on the morning we checked out wasn't rude by any means, but wasn't friendly. I went to the desk to ask if I needed to do anything to check out & she never looked up from her computer & just said "no". There was no interaction such as "how was your stay", "did you enjoy your stay" - no communication at all, just a cold "no". She did not appear to be in a good/friendly mood that I feel is necessary when working with the public. I probably shouldn't even have mentioned her because you never know what people are going through, but if she's like this to most people, then there's a problem. Like I said, it was an overall great place to stay for us & we look forward to visiting the hotel again."
