"Decent rooms, expensive food at the bistro, no complimentary hotel coffee besides the small portions in rooms. Breakfast sandwich and a parfait at the "Bistro" in the lobby cost $21.45, and the fruit in the parfait had mold growing on it. Check out the Gulf Shores Diner just 0.2 miles south instead."
"The staff at the hotel are the most friendly and helpful hotel staff I have ever dealt with. The hotel was clean, everything was amazing. It is not right on the beach but it is close. We will definitely stay here again."
"Still awaiting refund for a hotel stay where my card was tab more than once weekend 4th of July weekend. The GM -Erica was dismissive &the lady that ran my card was dissing me later when I returned to the hotel to anther employee. This was a 10hr trip from TX cut short, checked out 6am because the hotel world not stop running my card. Went to the front desk 2 mornings in a row. No call back or follow up & Marriott still has not refunded full stay. Opened aclaim that morning 7/2, 7/7 &again today 8/23 when the charges reappeared, disputing with my bank now. Contacted Marriott, claim still open told it would take ANOTHER 5-8 bus days for review by the property that started all this. Over it. Would NOT recommend a visit here! Horrible family vacation experience."
"I can not say enough good words about the staff at this hotel. Dwight was amazing at the front desk.He solved my problem with professionalism and always had a smile.Erica the GM was awesome in helping me with are reservation that need to be adjusted.The two young ladies that run the restaurant in the morning were great.Always greeted with a smile and made the breakfast just the way I wanted it.The young lady at night was great for making a great salad for me.Everywhere I went all the employees greeted me a hello and smile.We has a great stay at this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Gulf Shores.Great staff and location."
