"Rooms were a little small. Towels, sheets and room environment can be cleaner. Overall great stay for two nights with a 3 and 6 yr old. Kayaking is included and small beach area and docks nice to have during your stay. Dolphins and manatees were sighted during kayaking by other guests we met during our stay."
"Stayed in waterfront suite. Windows are stuck open, blinds won't close, closet door stuck and cant access other half, no WI-FI access. Tried to cancel at front desk after getting to room and was told that because I did not cancel 72 hours beforehand, (I booked room previous night) will receive no refund and there was no other room available. Will never stay here again. I've had better stays at Red Roof Inns."
"My fiancé and I just returned from our stay at the Pelican and we were very pleased. Yes - our room was tiny, but we knew that going in and found it cozy. We loved hanging out on the beach and also enjoyed the kayaks they had available. The location was perfect and within walking distance of several shops and restaurants."
"The Pelicans Cottages and staff are amazing. This is my second time staying there and I will not stay anywhere else. They have a Beautiful property and their beach area is very lovely. If you are looking for a place to stay this is it. The staff went above and beyond to give me a second night there because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay 2 night before arriving they said they were full but they worked it out for me amazing! Rosa was a delight! !! This place is amazing! ❤️"
"I was looking for a very affordable place to stay while I took a last second trip to the Keys while conducting business Florida. I found the Pelican and was more than pleased with the accommodations for the price. I was expecting a run down room for less than $100 and found the opposite. Although the outside of the rooms looks older, the inside was quaint and charming. It was very clean, and cozy with nice furnishings. The bed was comfortable, the room was cold, and the bathroom looked like it was just renovated. I had to check out early and needed a place to shower after bouncing around several beaches. They had a private shower for guests that I used before I went to the airport to fly back home so I didn't smell like seaweed anymore. This is my new go-to location when I go to the Keys and would recommend it for the budget conscious."
