Sun Outdoors Key Largo

"The score is for the location on the water & view at sunset, & for Chris who was very helpful in guiding me out of the tight space when I left. Other than that it was a horrible RV experience. When I booked on the phone I asked if there was enough space to back in my 30' fifth wheel easily. I was assured I'd have no trouble. NOT TRUE! It took a long time of incremental back & forth with two nice volunteer spotters (other residents) guiding me. Then, because of the extremely tight space & the extreme angle I had to maneuver the truck, the corner of the trailer smashed the rear window of the truck!!! (A $500-DEDUCTIBLE REPAIR!!!) Also, when I booked I asked if the space was long enough to leave the truck attached. Since there were only 2 nights available I didn't want to go to the trouble of unhitching & hitching just for one full day there. I was assured that would be fine. AGAIN, NOT TRUE! The truck obstructed the road so I had to unhitch. After I had parked, the girl I had made the booking with rode by in the cart & asked if all was good. When I told her of the problems I had despite her assuring me I wouldn't, she denied that she ever told me that. Classic case of BAIT & SWITCH / FALSE ADVERTISING! They said anything to sell the one remaining space! The few RVs there were so tightly packed together in the small tight area I had no idea how they got in. They were probably mostly long term. My space was on a corner between two cottages. Don't be fooled by the couple of photos showing RVs - they were photographed with loads more space between them than what I saw in person. The first night, the Wi-Fi was down! Second night it was working, but practically useless speed, supporting nothing more than email. Even if you ask when booking they never admit that."

"This is our second year staying at Sun Outdoors Key Largo! This is our favourite spot in Florida. Very clean, staff is very friendly and beautiful location. Specially thanks to Chris he's amazing!! Always available for help, gave us great advice and helpful and passionate about making us feel welcomed and at home, a service we havent seen anywhere else, honestly worth every penne, we will definitely come back! thank you Chris!!"

"This park is absolutely stunning and well maintained. We brought our 31ft RV to stay for several days. We have traveled all over the country for years and this was hands down the tightest spot we had ever experienced, had the spot across not have been empty for a few hours it would not have been possible. Chris was absolutely fantastic in getting us into our spot, but it was snug. If you are planning on working from home/RV be prepared that the full time residents are ready to party (it got loud). We had the same experience of the previous reviews and the 50 Amp could not support our rig so we had to plug into the 30 amp to have power. If you hang out by the tiki hut you are sure to see manatees. It is a beautiful park, if it weren’t for the tight spots (we had to move other people’s cars around for us to even get out), and not having a real dog park we would have given it 5 stars. Staff was great, the do the best they can with the tight facilities they have."

"We stayed in an RV site, and had a wonderful experience! Excellent staff that went above and beyond. Only one bathroom, but very clean. Beautiful water views with great amenities. WiFi was poor and I had bad reception through ATT, but it was fine. Overall, would highly recommend!"
