"I have been staying here on dive trips for almost 30 years. The property is very well maintained and location is perfect for diving or any other island adventure. The rooms have been updated, and the hardwood laminated floors in those rooms are great. Room smelled very good, which can be a problem with carpeted rooms in the Keys especially on the 1st floor. The bathrooms need a bit of an update. Couple quirks in the room otherwise a perfect stay! Tiki bar and pools are a highlight!"

"There are no elevators! So if you or your family have mobility issues, you are out of luck if they don’t have any first floor rooms available. They didn’t for us when we checked in at 9:30 pm and the front desk clerk gave me a curt response when I asked about it. There are two floors and the majority of the rooms face the exterior in a motel setup. Our room was clean but very dated and dingy with a tiny bathroom. The rooms and the building exterior are in desperate need of renovation. There are gaps in the exterior room doors which lets heat, humidity, and noise in. The pool area was very nice. I would also highly recommend Doc’s Diner across the street. Great breakfast food and service. Overall, we were very disappointed. Especially considering how much it cost. I wouldn’t return."

"We stayed here for a long weekend. It was a wonderful escape! The staff was fabulous, especially JP and Gean!! These two men work so hard (sun up to sun down), they're ALWAYS smiling, and they made our family feel so welcome, especially the kiddos! The pool and tiki bar was where we spent most of our time. We will be back to visit!"

"The staff was excellent. The hotel was overall nice, the rooms were not very impressive but also not bad. Loved the pool area and spent most of our time there. The tiki bar was awesome, and JP (the bartender out there) was absolutely top-notch! We didn't eat breakfast there, the buffet seemed small and over priced. The restaurant looks dated. We saw a manatee swimming in the marina immediately next door, which was extremely neat. Good location! The hotel backs up to a great restaurant (Skipper's Dockside) and is next door to an ice cream place (which we didn't end up having time to try). Couldn't find a good public beach nearby so we spent tons of time in the pool and pool area. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful when we were there."

"Love this place! Go at least once a year. Rooms are standard, nothing fancy but clean. We always get a room poolside on the ground floor with a little patio in the front. The courtyard is amazing with a large pool and a second pool with a beautiful waterfall. Tiki bar and lounge chairs are wonderful. Live music on weekends. Great getaway!!"
