Pet Supermarket

"I'm very excited to be getting my daughter a pair of bunnies. I have no idea what I'm doing, so I stopped in to see what they recommend and see the selection of cages, food and toys. There was one employee there. They didn't say anything to me, except when I was leaving. I'm not going to be yelled at halfway across the store because he didn't want to leave the register. It wasn't angry yelling, and I'm not even sure he was talking to me. I might bring my daughter back to look, but I've done business with pet supermarket sporadically over the years and this was disappointing. Maybe it's just because it's a Saturday and close to closing, but having one person there isn't enough."

"The staff are really nice, but they don’t seem to know a whole lot about the fish that they keep in stock. I have recently bought three fish from them with instructions from them and they have all died. Keep in mind I am very good with fish. I had a tank with tiger barbs for 12 years when they were only supposed to live three this is the first time I’ve had a problem with fish dying And of all fish I had bought goldfish which are supposed to be the easiest to maintain. I had a bad feeling when I bought them because all of them had peeling scales. The staff are nice, and the retail is good, but I would not recommend buying animals from here."

"Saturday June 10 is my son's birthday. For two years he has been asking for a bird. He has even done a power point on caring for birds and continues to add to this power point. We went to two stores to look at birds and just were not satisfied with the selection. So we headed to a third store Pet Supermarket off Hodges. Once we opened the door we felt how different this store was from the previous two stores. This store smells clean, looks clean and is organized. We were greeted right away. The parakeets were so beautiful and full of energy compared to the previous ones at the other stores. We had such great help from an employee named Pamela. SHE IS THE BEST!!!! She educated us on parakeets. My husband and I are so so thankful for her. She was able to help us learn between male and female and ages of the birds. She described to use the parts of the parakeet. She even got two of them out so my kids could hold them. She was able to help my husband find food for the birds, cage ect...If it weren't for Pamela I don't know we would have been lost. Kudos to her and the excellent customer service she provided for us. The staff overall was great and helpful as well. Pamela just really went above and beyond for us and eased the anxiety of getting a new pet. Thank you and we will def be back"

"They have nice pet collars. Food kinda pricey. Nice cat stands clothes and dog toys. Bit of everything for every pet including reptiles. Cat & dogs Worm medicine and flea stuff you can get at register. Nice customer service pamela and austin. They helped us find what we needed. They have pet fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds etc. You can purchase as well."

"Doggie wash is amazing! Only ten bucks. They give you towels and all of the other product to bring home as squeaky clean great smelling pup."
