"Today, I went in to buy a pack of cigarettes at this store without my ID on me. Our family just moved up to the neighborhood from South Florida and I lost my wallet during the move. Jessica was terrible. I was asking Dana, at the register, for help purchasing a product when Jessica intruded the conversation with her arms crossed and flat out refused to even listen to what I had to say. She went as far as to interrupt me while I was explaining my situation (still waiting for my ID to arrive in the mail), and provided 0 explanation of the store’s policy, which would have gone a long way in making me feel better about the whole experience. Thankfully, the gas station next door was able to patiently explain Florida law requires anyone who looks under 40 (I’m 29) to present ID. I was not expecting this kind of customer service in these parts. Being from Miami, the kindness and friendliness of my new neighbors here has been a breath of fresh air. I’m not sure what is wrong with this employee, but I will not be returning."

"Courteous staff. Quick to assist when I asked for the restroom key. The line stayed consistently 4-5 waiting and the 2 cashiering this night were very friendly, helpful, and efficient with their tasks at hand. Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience Dollar General."

"This was a pretty good visit. Clean. Well stocked. Good product selection. Prices fait. Only bad thing is I only saw one employee until I was at the checkout. I wandered aimlessly for awhile looking for a bucket. I found the bucket on the tip top shelf in the auto department. But I never once saw an employee until the checkout."

"When I first stepped in the store I do not imagine how clean and well-kept it looked. All the displays were neatly organized. And equality of stuff that was sold was better than I expected. The staff was also very helpful and polite"

"I shop here at least once a week. It's by far the most organized and clean DG in our area. They finally have some good employees in there. Hiring young kids who lacked in customer service yet had an abundance of things to talk about with one another made me consider taking my business elsewhere. Much better now. I went in tonight thinking they closed at 11, but when I walked in and asked about the hours the manager on duty told me they closed in 9 minutes. Having worked retail management for 12 yrs I know how frustrating that can be. However I was never rushed, got a cart full of items in my ten minutes and was also given on the floor help with items I was looking for. I even had 2 transactions and was treated with good service. This is refreshing considering how rude and complacent most people working retail are nowadays. I highly recommend this location."
