When shopping at Family Dollar, customers have the option to purchase individual units of a product, however, a handling fee will be applied to each unit. To avoid these per-unit handling fees, customers can choose to upgrade to a case.

Customers can also use gift cards to pay for their orders at Family Dollar. By entering the 19-digit gift card number and, if applicable, the 4-digit PIN, customers can apply the balance of the card to their order. If the purchase exceeds the funds on the gift card, an additional form of payment can be used to complete the transaction.

"commenting on Mr greer Post I was in there this morning the one young man that was cussing the manager walking out said you can't stop us all from stealing we do it everyday and people want know why prices are higher . that manager is always friendly and helpful and respectful . I have noticed since they hired the new manager the shelves are more stocked and good help hard to find. No body should ever be talked to the way that manger was talked to this morning I hope the higher ups in corporate see this and gives that manger a pat on the back . because he deserves it ."

"Just the standard dollar store, but larger than most. The selection seemed ordinary for edible goods and the refrigerated/frozen section won't give you any surprises. There may be a lot of stuff here that you can't find in other dollar stores, but I generally check out the food items. The prices seem slightly lower than Dollar General. Clean store and parking lot, although it's fairly new, so time will tell if it remains that way. The lighting is dim, so that is a purposeful corporate policy, because the old store behind Churchs Chicken on 90 was spookily dim. Not a bad location, if you want to head south on Stewart Street...the light at Park Avenue cuts off the flow of traffic well. If you want to head north, that's more tricky."
