"Having been in counseling in many years past, I can honestly say I have found hope that my life can have peace and, yes, even joy! Sara Nixon is amazing! I have been counseling with Sara for a couple of months, yet I feel like I've known her forever and trust her implicitly. Let the healing begin!"

"I have seen a counselor here for over a year now and it has been such a safe experience as I process my story. I have referred several teenagers and adults to Porter’s Sound, and they have also begun their journey towards processing and healing."

"Grateful for the team at Porters Sound and the care they offer to others. I have personally met with all the counselors to learn their background and been able to refer multiple people to their services. Working in a church, they have been a great resource to our people!"

"Service with Jeff Duncan (out of his Bradenton location) resulted in one of the more harmful episodes of my adult life. In the immediate aftermath of events with Mr. Duncan, I found myself absolutely crippled by my first, and only bout of clinical depression. It took a year with an ethical psychologist to untangle all the damage done. She rightly diagnosed an activated state of PTSD triggered by these events and in her words, “one of the most messed up stories I’ve ever heard.” Left three stars and not one bc Kolby Nance was fairly empathetic in response to learning some of the details of this story and that twice this year the state has opened an investigation into Mr. Duncan."
