"Have been going here for almost 6 months. I was hesitant because there aren’t many reviews, but this place is legit. It is only one evening a week rented from an Aikido dojo, and I cannot recommend it enough. This is a full contact art, but not hard core grappling rounds like Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. We focus on standing submissions and takedowns, and Sensei Bill focuses 100% on defense. I am super happy I gave Danzan Ryu a chance."

I have been looking for a good dojo for over a year now since i moved to Florida and almost from the first class on i knew that i would be sticking with this one. Sensei Bill is a great and patient instructor who gives real world uses for the techniques that he teaches. I have a bit of background in martial art, i.e. judo and FCS (Filipino Combat Systems) and joining this class has been a fantastic addition to my skill set. Class is easy to follow and we get to work with different students throughout. The students are also very knowledgeable and give great feedback.
