"The school and teachers are amazing! But some of you parents really need to start teaching your kids right. There is no reason a child should go to school acting and treating other students the way they do. If you want the world to change for the better, you need to show them the better way. It starts with you. From some of the things my child have told me, I am very dissapointed in some parents."
"Updating review since almost a year has passed and things are very different. My daughter is in her 3rd year at Lockhart she started in Kindergarten and is now in second grade. She has an IEP and this year has been fraught with stress as the paperwork she’s expected to do has increased exponentially. Testing is weighted do heavily that it doesn’t matter that she does fair to excellent in her homework and school work. Large class this year and changing teachers don’t help. Giving three stars since my older review was 5 but now I would rate at 1 or 2 stars so I’m averaging it out. Old review: We love Lockhart Elementary! Most staff are caring and receptive to comments. Many class sizes are smaller than the state requirements, which is great! Terrific PTO with lots of activities. Looking forward to next year!"

"I love this historic 1936 school. The Lockhart area is a proud community in the Orlando area. The school is under going a comprehensive renovation this coming year. The students will be meeting at the old Clarcona elementary off Damon and McCormick Roads."
