"Thanks Dusty Johns for your dedication and leadership! If it weren’t for you we wouldn’t have our youngest graduating from a school so rich in tradition. I am a Boone grad and so is her grandmother. It will be very special to see her graduate in the class of 2019 transferring in as a junior this year. You are the reason we are back in our neighborhood and at Boone. Thank you for all you do!"

"I mean it's alright. Like they said, the teachers are pretty nice and tolerant here. Bad thing is no ear phone policy which is dumb. And it's pretty bad to be a minority at this school."

"Don't go here if you're a minority. At Boone, the straight cisgender white people rule and everyone else is left to drown. There are a few good teachers, but a lot of them are terrible, especially when dealing with transgender or genderqueer students, or students with mental disorders or learning disabilities. The GSA is an amazing club, however, which is one of Boone's only good qualities."

"My experience at Boone was terrible that school is full of racist people. Some teachers have favorites. Some examples of my experience is my teacher put me in a group for a group project as I'm walking to the other table kids start giving me dirty looks and one boy put his foot on the chair for I don't sit there. It was only my second week at that school. Another experience I had at Boone was I got write up because kids went to the teacher and said I wanted to fight them and I never did they was trying to set me up.That same teacher said that the kids that was trying to set me up was doing my work and said I can't get the grade.i ask to see the paper and the teacher told she don't keep the papers so I said if you don't have any proof then you cant do me anything.on my first day there a boy called me fresh meat and when I told the teacher about it all she did was laugh and since I'm from the Virgin Islands and I have an accent the kids will start to laugh because I'm speaking. At that school the police officer told me that he will send me back to where I'm from because I came to complain to the office about the girls harassing me. I suggest that people don't send their kids to this school. I'm currently going to Lyman high school and it's the best the kids they don't mess with me or my sister they love our accent and make you feel welcome to Lyman not Boone."

"Boone has a little bit of everything for everyone. The staff is hard-working, and provide a safe environment. The teachers really do care about the students. We also have our very own College and Career center In the student services office that is an incredible tool for getting college and scholarship information. All your questions can be answered here :). I've wanted to be a Boone Brave since elementary school, and now that I graduated (2014), im glad it didnt disappoint. Theres a lot of school spirit and activities to get involved in. ENROLL HERE."
