"Months prior to my appointment, I made it clear that I needed to be first for my procedure. However, after being checked in (gown on and IV in) I was told that I was fourth. I put my clothes back on and left. The previous day, I did not eat anything in preparation. Only to be let down by this incompetent appointment system. I planned this procedure for months. Endured a day of horrible preparations. They answer to no one. I was treated like a number, not a person."

"This place is awesome from the time you walk in. The check in area is private and the staff very friendly. This was my second time at this center once for a colonoscopy and now to remove my chemo port. Every nurse and technician were professional and made me comfortable, especially Carmen who got me settled and Joe who made me comfortable. Everyone is smart ,compassionate,professional and it makes a difficult situation easy for the patients . Thank You every one at New Port Richey Surgery Center. "I had Left Shoulder Rotator Cuff and another tear Surgery on 5/12/23. Front desk lady was very patient with me as I had a lot of paperwork first thing in the morning. Nurse Carmen was great made me feel comfortable and she put the IV in perfect didn't feel it. Explained how everything was going to go. Dr. G did the Shoulder Block without any issues. Dr. Peter Candelora and his attendees did a great job. I have been here 3 times within the last 3 years and always have a great experience. I highly recommend it."

"Today I came in for a lipoma removal from my right shoulder. I had never had any kind of surgery or experience with general anesthesia before, so I was a little bit nervous. I feel so lucky to have come here to have my procedure done. The very first person I interacted with was Emerson the receptionist, she was wonderful, spoke clearly, had a warm and kind personality, and was patient and that was really nice to experience, because not every receptionist is so nice. Then there was Kim who was also warm and kind and helpful. Kelly and Angie were my amazing pre-op nurses and I thought they worked so well together. They both were very patient, attentive, fun, warm and kind. I enjoyed my conversations I had with them. Angie made getting my IV put in not so scary. I don’t like needles, so when I told them that, and said that one thing that helps me get through having blood drawn is for me to talk to the nurse the entire time, and of course don’t look at it being done. So Angie kept eye contact with me and talked with me the whole time, which I really appreciated, it really helped take my mind off of what was happening. Then someone came to help Kelly when my IV wouldn’t go all the way in, I’m not sure how to spell his name, but he was awesome too, and I’m glad he was able to come help. Everyone always let me know exactly what they were going to do, so I felt at ease and very comfortable. Jessica my OR nurse and Brandi my nurse in recovery were so supportive, warm and kind too. So thank you to everyone, you all are amazing at what you do."
