"Terrible. 0/5 Not Recommended! TLDR: Nightmare when it comes to getting information, rude and obnoxious receptionist, billing issues, and a doctor that doesn't see you and a nurse practitioner that couldn't care less. If you can, find somewhere else to go. Full story: First, they demand payment up front, and if you self-pay, you're looked down on, like you're scum for not having insurance. Then they speak so loud the entire room can hear them saying your personal/financial information, which is embarrassing. Second, I was set an appointment for Dr. Mirza, but it was switched to Toni Clark (apparently, his nurse practitioner), and I was still charged as if I had seen the actual doctor. She didn't ask about my financial situation before throwing products on me, which I assumed were part of my payment for the day. Instead, I got a bill stating the wrong overall price, plus extra for the products. I had to call multiple times for questions only to be ignored, put on hold multiple times, and eventually told they'd call me back, but never did. I have no idea what my blood work results are or how to proceed with my treatment. Now, I'm forced to call repeatedly to figure out this billing issue. I was also charged from the hospital for their doctor there (amazing doctor), but they charged me 2 extra times when I never even saw that doctor, and the prices are all different. The wait time for seeing anyone is extremely long. The facility had a broken door. The whole place felt gross, like I was going to get sick just by sitting in the waiting room. Oh, and if you need someone for support, forget about it. My husband wasn't allowed to come in with me. Also, when I explained to Toni Clark that I was in paid and was having a lot of the bad/scary side effects from my medications, for the most part, it was brushed off."

"Dr. Mirza has provided excellent treatment to me. He is kind, caring, and compassionate. He spends an ample amount of time with me understanding symptoms and explaining treatment plans. Dr. Mirza and staff are super busy. But this is the markings of a very in-demand practice. The best way to reach the office staff is to message thru the Spruce app."

"Dr Mirza is the most caring and compassionate physician I have ever seen. He listens to all my complaints and finds the source of the ailments and targets each one with the appropriate treatment. He reviews all my symptoms with me and explains the treatment plan in a way I can understand. I have not been easy to treat because of how aggressive my diagnosis is but he never gets frustrated and he is determined to get my quality of life back. His nurse is very compassionate and caring and she is quick to respond to my needs in person and through their online portal. Dr Mirza has put together a wonderful team and I am so very thankful for them! I could never pay them back for their treatment of me, there needs to be more physicians in this world like Dr Mirza"

"The doctors and staff at Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound Center are wonderful. They were able to schedule me to see a doctor quickly and I was soon on a treatment plan (it didn't take weeks to be seen). I had no issues with billing as they worked with my insurance and when I did have a question about my medical care, I was able to reach them and get answers to my questions. Their office is modern, clean, and full of natural light which I appreciate. I highly recommend Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound Center."
