""Mixed Bag at Picnchers" Despite bad oysters, Picnchers offers a beautiful restaurant atmosphere and great service. Oysters were disappointing, but the shrimp was decent."

"We had such high hopes for this place! We chose it for the location, as it’s at a harbor with beautiful views. The location was spot on and exactly what we wanted. Our waitress was super busy but still managed to get us everything we needed with a smile and grace. But the food! It was horrible, and frankly almost inedible! I had the fish dinner and it was dry and tough, the flavoring was so heavy that it would best to be described as a salt lick. My mother had the salmon and it was cooked so much it was almost white! She had to give up on chewing it half way through her mouth got so tired…. on fish! My husband had the fish and chips and that seems to be what they make there that tastes good. He was super happy, unlike the rest of our party. So when we go for the view, we will definitely only order the fish and chips. I know this place is a chain, but Waffle House does better!"

"2nd time at Pinxhers Tarpon Point and it did not disappoint. Had Fixh & Green Beans and my mom has broiled grouper. Food was delicious and not too salty. Thank you Julie for making our experience at Pinxhers a special one."

"Your experience will highly depend on what you order. I ordered all the wrong things. The blackened chicken was dry and had zero flavor - the underside was completely unseasoned - and there was no char to speak of. The steak fries lacked seasoning and are a much smaller portion than the regular fries. The green beans were undercooked and lacked flavor. The 2 for 1 house Chardonnay was the best part of the meal. I tasted some of the other plates our table ordered and the food was much better. The coconut shrimp were good, the baby back ribs were good, and the regular fries were good once you added salt (a theme throughout). Our server (I think Sheldon was his name) was very good. However, the main course came out while everyone was still eating their salads and working on appetizers. One of my biggest pet peeves at restaurants. And the restaurant wasn't even crowded where there would be a reason to try to turn tables faster."
