"If you were looking for nostalgic, gross cafeteria food, then this is the place for you! Everything we got was ice cold. We both took a couple bites of our food and threw it out because it was so gross. Desserts were just chucked in containers. The only thing I sort of ate was the chicken soup, and even that tastes like canned chicken thrown in chicken stock. Definitely will not be ordering from here again."
"1/24 Mel’s Diner - Cape Coral, Fl Excellent restaurant with great staffing. We were seated quickly, good waitress kept us going throughout. 2 had salads, one blue plate special and our 4th had a wrap. Food came out steaming and prepared perfectly. Drinks kept coming. This place is a clean modern diner, plentiful parking"
"Service was great. Friendly at arrival and throughout. Fixed a mistake that happened with our order no problems. Food was as expected: good, diner style, comfort food. I ordered French toast and it was great. Can't go wrong with breakfast! Bathrooms were clean."
"Tried to have Thanksgiving dinner ordered. I specify “tried” for a reason. Absolutely ruined Thanksgiving for everyone! The pictures show all I really need to say, even called and spoke with a “manager” and was just simply dismissed. The ham (as you will see) was burnt….I like bacon but geez, really?Regardless, will not be ordering anything again."
"Mel’s is popular for a reason and consistency has a lot to do with that. We’ve always had great service and the variety of food is sometimes astonishing. On a Sunday afternoon we had fruit pancakes and eggs on one side and the Sunday special pork dinner on the other. No complaints, always leave smiling."
