"As a military family relocating to a new state with limited housing options available to us, no immediate family or friends and no where else to turn, Graystone reserves really did came in handy with their fully furnished apartment. The need for this service is there for sure it’s the price for the services that I feel is unethical. The environment presents well, appears safe, and ideal location wise for those in need of temporary lodging and transporting back and forth from Fort Benning, but the cost to stay in this mediocre (in my opinion) 1 bedroom apartment is ridiculous. Yes it is completely furnished and has all the basic necessities. In my opinion they could drop the cost somewhere or re-evaluate some expenses. No type of military discount or anything is offered and you pay more for short term leases and pets which I understand traditionally that’s how apartments work. I just feel like military communities should make an effort to support military service members/families and it’s that lack of integrity in my opinion as to why I would not recommend this company to another displaced military family. No I did not expect it for free, but it could be possibly income based or based off of BAH for this area. The amount of money we spent living here gave us a temporary roof over our heads but it also took away from our quality of life which has caused us some financial and emotional distress, but on the bright side we made it through our first 90days here and today we move into our own home. Thanks for the temporary lodging Greystone and I hope this helps someone. Also the apartment had roaches."
