The Groves Lithonia Apartments

"DON’T MOVE HERE! I’ve been at these apartments for a decade now. It was called Cambridge Heights Apartments when I first moved here. They’ve changed the name twice. This complex is INFESTED with roaches to the point where pest control does no justice. There’s constant theft, gunshots, and death in this complex. In my opinion these apartments need to be torn completely down and added to just be an extension of the cemetery that’s across the street. The maintenance men are useless. Furthermore, things that this apartment complex advertises like the gym and pool are never open or utilized. They keep the neighborhood looking “nice” on the outside but being that most that live here are on section 8 they don’t care about the health and well-being of those that live here. Those that aren’t on section 8 are paying high rent to live in a hell hole/trash can. Don’t move here. Many have died in these apartments… don’t say I didn’t warn you."

"I wish that I could give 0 stars honestly. This apartment complex is by far the worst I’ve ever seen. My cousin was supposed to move in 2 weeks ago but she couldn’t due to the loud and foul smell of pee coming from the inside of the apartment. Cleaning the apartment didn’t help the situation at all. Don’t let me get started on the gnats… lord they are horrible there and the leasing agent told us that “there is a gnat problem in all of the apartments”, as if that’s a good thing. When I say they have gnats really bad, I mean bad because you can’t even sit in the apartment without swatting them out of your face and they were all inside of the refrigerator. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone. It’s a shame that my cousin couldn’t even move her stuff in the apartment because of the filthiness."

"Visited a friend. Kids outside until the wee hours all on the steps. Asking to take out trash for money when they are going to throw it in the bushes. Roaches, roaches, roaches. Water bugs everywhere. Outdated AC, no energy efficient appliances. Did I mention the roaches. These need a thorough pest plan! When roaches get into your refrigerator the infestation is crazy!"

"I’m new to this Community and so far I have no complaints. I had a pretty smooth transition with moving in nothing drastically wrong I actually love my place. There’s a lot of kids in the neighborhood, but that don’t bother me at all their kids. I had no issue when it came to communicating about my move in and so on. I sincerely appreciate Kiarra"

"I had an appointment for a tour today at 3:00p.m. (7/10/2023) I get to the door. The doors are locked. I can see two ladies sitting at the desk. One was on the phone. They clearly see me at the door. They both get up and go wherever. Did not acknowledge me, did not say how may I help you. So I can already see that this community is not for me. How can you see a customer at the door and just walk off...crazy.Scout Echols, Leasing Assistant BH Management is who I have been communicating with via email. And set my tour up. The communication between us two have been good. People like those ladies don't need to work in any customer service field where they are dealing with people because CLEARLY customer service is not their field!!"
