"I have never been to Plato’s Closet and decided to check it out since I’m at Urban Air next door a lot. My 17 year old started to go, but didn’t since their signs said no bags of any kind and you must wear a mask. So I went in with a mask and without my bag. I was the ONLY person in there with a mask on and without my bag. Perhaps you should take your signs down because they’re off-putting. I was very unimpressed with this store. It had an odd smell to it like old clothes. Goodwill smells better. Also, the selection was not like I had expected. For example, they had a pair of Denizen jeans for sale. Those are sold at Target. Shoes looked dirty and too worn to be sold. I honestly feel that you are better off just going to Goodwill. If you want to sell your clothes, do it on eBay or Poshmark. I would suggest checking eBay and Poshmark out if you’re looking for high end brands. This store was also very cluttered. Too much in too little of a space. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place is much too pretentious for what it is."

"Don’t even bother. I dropped 3 boxes of clothes before I went to work came back to get them at 4pm. They said they are passing on everything because of the condition. The funny part is I haven’t worn half of the things and also they only went through 1 of the 3 boxes. And I know this because I put the items in a certain way and I got it back exactly the same. Literally don’t waste your time here."

"I like this location better than other branches because of the selection. When I was checking out, one of the item’s tags had to be changed. The employee ripped it off. I didn’t think anything of it at the time. When I get home, I see there is not one, but 3 small holes at the back of the neck where they usually put the tags. I’m assuming the multiple employees just rip the tags off by hand. I returned it the next time I went to Plato’s."

"I brought in two bags of clothes and a bag of shoes in to sell. They passed on everything because of "wear and tear" and "not in style". I had many name brands in the bags, including Nike, Adidas, Columbia, and more. Nothing was worn out, most of my items were barely worn. I dont have "old" or "out of style "clothes in there. All the clothes were pretty new and in good condition. Everything was in better shape than many other clothes and shoes they have on their shelves now. Their reasoning for mine not being good does not match the products they try to sell on their floor. When I brought the bags back to my car, I realized they didnt even fully look inside the bags as they were still partially tied up like they were before, meaning they didn't even go through everything. I ended up giving all my stuff to the Goodwill right next door. I know someone will be happy with them there. I think it's time to reevaluate how y'all look at incoming items."

"Supposedly it was fill your bag for 20.00 per racks with red balloons. However when we get to the counter we were told only clothes with clearance tags on the rack with red balloons. That should have been explained in FULL when asked upon entering the store. VERY DISAPPOINTED & A WASTE OF OUR TIME AND GAS."
