"Really was looking forward to coming here and trying on some shoes (loafers) hopefully make a purchase, no one spoke to me , not even a welcome in, a few employees walked past me in the shoe section looked over and still choose not to even acknowledge my existence inside the store no one even said anything on the way out , ,not sure what made them not want to speak to me or if I was just profiled as someone who is not important….. *Update : The manager Ali did reach out and we had a conversation. I am appreciative and commend her efforts as many businesses do not respond to not positive criticism or just get really defensive. Ali took time to listen to my feedback and to understand my point of view and I believe she wants the team at the store to be better in these areas. Ali invited me back in again to get a different experience and I genuinely appreciate the invite and the attempt to better my experience, I graciously accepted the invitation and the team was kind and Bailey who helped me was kind , helpful and thoughtful. It is my hope that going forward to have more positive experiences at Mashburn for myself and every single customer/ visitor who walks through their doors. Thank you Ali and Team. -Jabari"

"The customer service here is always a little odd......the employees seem to be hanging out and casually chatting among themselves. Not particularly focused on customers. Stopped by today (a Saturday in November) at 10:30AM, hoping to grab coffee and do some early holiday shopping. Posted hours in storefront show an opening time of 10AM. The main door was locked, as were all doors leading to the men's shop. I could see workers walking around inside, however. Confused, I checked one last side door, which was open. Thinking I might be entering the store before "opening" time, I asked the sales woman if the store was open. She said "yes", and seemed thoroughly confused when I told her all the doors were still locked. I made my way to the coffee bar to find a sign reading "sorry - we are closed today." I left the store. There are too many similar stores at this price point in Atlanta where I can spend money with folks who are making a more substantive effort to serve customers."

"I do really like some of their clothes. However, I visited the store twice in the last couple of months and I felt like there was no interest in me whatsoever. My impression was that the staff was more interested in themselves than earning my business. It felt almost like they looked down on me and someway. This place could use some training on Customer Service."

"Ivy is the freaking MAN! I drove two hours from Chattanooga to visit the store and was not disappointed. From when I walked into the store until I left, Ivy and the team were helpful and courteous. Thank you for a fantastic experience, and I wish I could have spent more time at the store."

"I have loved this store since its early days and I still do but I wonder if as they have expanded their quality has started to suffer. On a recent trip to Djibouti I lost my original and order this as replacement. The first item came and fell apart within a week. This was the replacement to that the first one and it performed even worse. -See the photos documenting this. My advice to these guys is that growth is wonderful but quality cannot suffer in pursuit of growth. The staff including Randall have always been exemplars of professionalism and grace but this product is antithetical to the brand promise . I am hopeful the store will self-correct. The pictures show a) the box in which it came b) the unraveling after less than a day of wear and c) the repair I paid for to make it usable."
